Underrated book lotr detail: Boromir and Aragorn genually carry the hobbits on their backs all the time.
They decide to carry the hobbits on their necks through the snow because they thought it was too deep for hobbit legs. I think there's multiple instances of them carrying the hobbits through cracks and high places. Aragorn and Boromir carry Sam and Frodo out of Moria. Halfway through the walk after Moria Aragorn goes "I forgot you two are injured and need help!" and instructs Boromir to carry Sam on his back. Which Boromir does.
They never ask whether the hobbits actually want to be carried. They just carry them like toddlers on the top of their shoulders.
The designated Men of the Fellowship carry the local halflings on their backs like the halflings are chihuahuas without personal space, which is absolutely hilarious.
Friendly reminder that Frodo named his pony Strider when he got back to the Shire. Friendly reminder that all the hobbits continued to call Aragorn “Strider” (at least on occasion) even after his coronation. Friendly reminder that Aragorn said that the name meant so much to him that he was going to make it his family name. Friendly reminder that the hobbits and Aragorn considered themselves close friends, even with everything going on. Friendly reminder that Merry and Pippin are buried with Aragorn.

Aragorn, truly just some guy at heart: I’m gonna call my dad

The party dressed as the hobbits from "the lord of the rings" for Halloween 🥰
I think they're probably about 10 here? And yes they are wearing shoes. I couldn't think of a reason why their mums would let them go out bare foot in October 😅
Mike tried though. He took off his shoes when he was out of his mums sight, but he only lasted a few blocks before he gave up, cause his feet were cold 💙
Close ups under the cut.
