Pandoc, the near-universal document conversion tool, implemented in wasm and running purely on your computer in the browser. If you need to convert a document between formats and you don't have a tailor-made tool, this is probably the best way to do it. If you were using some dubious adware website to do it it was probably just using pandoc in the background so this just cuts out the privacy nightmare.

Doom letting me pick out the exact colour of the cross hair and a bunch of styles to pick out from so I can get one I can see best against the different colour schemes of the levels was fabulous. I am always resentful of games sticking with extremely fixed user interfaces.

Being able to change the color of HUD elements is huge for me too, pure "high visibility" #ffffff white HUD elements drive me crazy and feel like the burn into my fucking eyes and games that I already enjoy and play a bunch of keep adding them in updates with no way to revert them for "better visibility."

remapping controls, highly adjustable visuals, optional/adjustable outlines for important things, bigger text, dyslexia friendly fonts, phobia-reducers/removers, and TTS/STT (for chats in multiplayer games) should always be required features in my opinion. ESPECIALLY if you call your game "accessible".

All of this will always go so much farther to allow more people to "access" your video game than any sort of "easy mode" that bypasses the core gameplay.

XKit Rewritten v1.1.6: Permalink Wrangling

This version was approved for distribution by Google on 2025-12-10, and by Mozilla on 2025-12-12. Please allow 24 hours for Firefox to pull the update, or see how to update add-ons manually.

For those affected by Tumblr's latest UI experiment, where posts' permalink hitboxes cover the entire post, there's now an option in Tweaks to banish them to the ether:

This option was formerly called "Restore links to individual posts in the post header". It still does this—making it easy to click on a post's blog or reblogged-from name to get to the post's permalink or previous reblog, respectively—its functionality has just expanded.

Now, it also affects the names of comment authors in the reblog trail, and removes the header/post-wide permalinks that it makes redundant. With this, you can once again select any text in posts on the dashboard unimpeded.
