the anger I felt yesterday about not getting paid enough has once again turned into existentialism

#rifp #thinking about. how as a kid you never feel free bc you Have to listen to your parents. you Have to go to school. you don't have the rights #or money to go do what you want #so you feel like adulthood will feel very free #but it isn't. because now you have to take care of all of the essential things your parents were (supposed to be) taking care of #like feeding yourself. paying the bills. cleaning. your world now revovles around how much money you make #and for most people they never make enough money to feel unchained from having to constantly be Thinking about Every Obligation #days off don't feel like days off. you still have to take care of the household #you never feel like a kid again on the weekend where the possibilities were endless and you could do anything you wanted #bc you have to take care of your household #you aren't free. you can't afford to take a day off. you can't travel. you cant even eat out that much #you feel ragged like you work so much all the time just to have enough to be Comfortable #but comfortable isn't always fulfilled.#feels like when I was a teen I felt like I was just waiting for an interesting life. I just had to get through school. but now I am done #with all that. and it just feels like nothing else exciting is ever going to happen to me #idk. it's weird. I think I just maybe wish I had more money but I get really sad about how mentally exhausted I often feel and how not fun #life sometimes feels.#but at the same time I know I have a lot to appreciate about my life and there are a lot of good things that I have #like I love my gf and my dog #I guess I just wish I had days where there wasn't anything I Had to do.#and I wish that I had the ability to do more things. even just take a little weekend trip. it just feels like every week is the same week #over and over #I wish I had something I felt like I was looking forward to. my life has no events that aren't obligations #or bad things #I also just feel like I am done developing. I am what I am at this point. like a book character after the book is over
