I was coming back home from my boyfriend’s house and I was thinking “How beautiful is listen to a great music while you’re driving in the dark”. And my thoughts came back to that time when I was suffering about anxiety attack and I could’t drive because I was afraid. A lot of time happened that my bestfriend asked me to go out, and I said yes. But after, my anxiety attack arrived, and I phoned my bestfriend and I said: “Sorry, but I have a terrible headache” or “Sorry but I have stomacache”. I was a girl with a lot of problems, mostly because of school (and university) and people who treated me badly. They said I was fat,I was crazy because I’m passionate about football, Formula One, because I love music so much. They didn’t know how much they hurt me. And I wasn’t me because I was trying to be like they wanted. In school and at university. One time a girl asked to me to go with her and some of her friends to the disco. She said to me that she would arrived at 9 p.m. She arrived at midnight. And I waited three hours like a stupid! My anxiety attack were terrible because of these things. Then three years ago I decided to put my life togheter and say goodbye to all these stupid things. I made a trip, just me and me, in another country, far away from my family and all these persons that ruined my life. And my life changed. I still work on me, I still have anxiety, but I can control this stupid little shit! And you can do the same. Don’t allow people to hurt you, don’t allow people to say to you what you have to do or what you have to be. Be yourself! And don’t care about what other people say! You are what you are, with your passion, with your body. Be confident! Because you are an human being, a beautiful human being. Now I’m happy, with a boyfriend, with a job and some wonderful colleagues. And the shit is just a thought that comes to mind in a dark, summer, night.

David Kang, the student who fired the shots, turns out to have been firing blanks from a starting pistol, not actual bullets. He was sentenced to community service, went on to get his MBA and is now a barrister. Y’know I reblogged this a bit ago and was saved from financial probation and getting kicked out of school because of it, just mere months from graduation. Got a call from the financial aid advisor telling me that they made a mistake with filing my account (or some other sort of clerical error) and said that, basically, they owe me money. Welp.
