Hello all and welcome, you can call me Sushi! I'm 25 years old, nonbinary/demisexual, and I am a writer and artist here on tumblr. I mainly post fanart on here, but I do have an official art account where I post most of my other art, but I will reblog between the two blogs.

I hop around a lot of different fandoms. TF2, HTTYD, Godzilla, Markiplier, Sander sides, creepypasta, analog horror, the list goes on! So my post tend to follow my current hyperfixation.

Longtime readers may be aware of how much I relish an excuse to bully a company, so I'm sharing the wealth;

Clothing company Patagonia is currently sueing drag queen Pattie Gonia for "irreparable” harm to their brand.

To be clear; Pattie named herself after the region in South America.

So Pattie is asking people to politely ask Patagonia to drop the lawsuit.

I'm extending the invitation to all of you, because sueing a drag queen for 'infringement' in the current political cultural landscape is vile. Especially a drag queen who has raised millions of dollars for non-profits, uses her platform to raise awareness for climate activism, and fully aligns with Patagonia's apparent climate-conscious mission statement.

They're claiming they're sueing for $1. They're actually asking her to stop using her name, and pay over $1 million in legal fees. They're straight up harassing her.

In contrast, drag queen Jan Sport has a Jansport bag line. It's that easy to just... work with a queen.

Anyway. Be respectful(ish), but feel free to be annoying on Patagnoia's socials, asking them to 'DROP THE LAWSUIT'

Different Furry versions of Soldier

I have this idea about what different animals the Mercs might be if they were furries. So, Soldier is going first. He is often depicted as an eagle, or racoon which makes since, but it's a little boring in my opinion. So I have a few suggestions.

Bison: The Bison is an incredibly American animal. It's large, stubborn, and will not hesitate to kill you. I feel like it is a good match for Soldier.

Coyote: Another very American animal. They are loud, they are everywhere. They are also efficient predators which matches with Soldier pretty well.

Skunk: Honestly thought it was just fun to imagine Soldier as a Skunk.

Jackalope: I think this is a fun animal for soldier, even if it is fictional. Jackalopes are one of the biggest American myths, and they are based off of hares which are one of the most unsettling animals in the US. The idea of Soldier lifting up his helmet to stare at the person with the most soul piercing eyes they have ever seen.

Like they tried to change Reblogs and people rightfully got up in arms, this is a LOT worse. In order to have access to any sort of thing dubbed mature, and We haveALL seen what they think is mature, Everything from a black and white photo of a black woman's arm, to posts about IUD recalls, to a nude painted by a 17th century artist, to anything involving the word Trans; you have to send your personal information to a third party site that WILL get hacked, and you will be doxxed. And they can say "Oh shit, well it wasn't us who sent your name address and gender identity to Moldovan teenagers, here's a couple extra minutes in the ball pit.

That's bad enough!!!!!!!! But the entire idea of needing permission from state authorities to access anything labeled mature by our friendly AI overlords is some fucking Boll shit. Die Gedenken Sind Frie baby. This is all a reaction to people getting uppity about their lowly lowly rights and is being propped up by the same bad actors tht have made life unlivable. Fuck that shit.

"Well it's only being rolled out in Brazil and UK" Yeah, to start. "Well they're being forced to do this by laws." YOu know it's always really funny when these tech giants (Or whatever you call owning tumblr dot com) get really antsy about laws considering they pick and choose which ones they abide by.

This is a breaking point and it's going to be very interesting to see how we proceed from here.

even if you think this does not directly effect you, IT DOES! it is going to make more of a difference than you think. i already can't interact with a friend's blog that has been marked mature for no reason. tumblr's flagging system already has huge issues (either incorrectly flagging posts as mature or explicit, and also flagging content involving trans content of almost any kind) and it will act as a ban for some user's content. the UK law has already been in effect for over a year, and tumblr has been used as normal, so i don't see why they have suddenly decided they want to add an age verification. it's tech companies who can pick and choose to monitor information, this does not seem to be about laws (the law seems to be more of an excuse on why they CAN do it, not why they ARE).

When you submit a support ticket, you'll get an email from the auto responder. You'll need to reply to that email or they assume the automated reply solved your problem and close your ticket.

I would suggest insisting a human address the issues raised in your support ticket when you reply. If you're not satisfied with the answer you get after that, escalate.
