Busiest but Most Fun Week
July is for National Children's Book Month.
First time in my career that the urge to participate in this celebration came alive. On its 30th anniversary. For a couple of weeks, I engaged myself to coordination to various school offices and point persons and posting updates on different bulletin boards. Well, that cost my breaks and times to take a rest and not even once in those weeks did I regret those little sacrifices. Indeed, my way of returning something to the children.
And the blast happened this week. There were storytelling sessions, quiz bees and book talks from Monday thru Friday in the grade school classrooms. What a fun way to motivate reading and imbibe the true spirit of literature! This is just the start of the tedious process because my goal for this year is to leave a legacy relevant to reading, literature and social interactions.
