INTPs be like
What if I’m an INTJ... lol jk... unless🤔
INTJ & INTP : Differences
For INTx who feels confused (or anyone who are curious lol)
The Mbti test can be a bit hard to answer, especially if you are indecisive. Which could lead to constant changes of results, or a "hm, I don't think that's me but oh well" result.
Intj and intp can be quite similar, but they do have their differences. One of the topic from the test is about planning and organizing. And this is what I've noticed from my Intj friends:
Planning
Although the test does say that Intj like plans and order, most of the time it can seem like intp is the one who plans more.
When an intp is stressed, they tend to use planning as a coping mechanism. As much as they enjoy it, they tend to forget it as soon as they are out of the stress zone.
INTJ on the other hand, doesn't tend to do physical plan but rather they like to make a mental note of things they need to do, when to do them, and all of their boring routines :p
2. Cleanliness
INTJ likes things to be neat and organized, especially for their room, self, and their environment. But their apathetic attitude can sometimes lead them seem messy like having a not so neat handwriting and doesn't bother to change it if the teacher can still read it. (That may change as they mature)
As for INTP however, they like the idea of clean and tidy, but in reality they are an absolute mess.
Clean once a month, dirty room 5 minutes later. They sometimes like to have a neat journal and try to make their works look nice, while sitting there oblivious to the shipwreck of a room behind them. (Psst, the neatness don't last long, just look at the back pages)
Most however won't care and just text their only friend for assignments. (If they are lucky and have a few friends, they will cycle through whilst hoping the friend won't block them for asking everyday)
One of the greatest thing that the internet has given is the ability to study anything without the burden of having to commit to a certain field
That feeling when you're sitting on a really high chair and your feet can't touch the ground
No matter how tall you are you'll just feel smol
That feeling when you're sitting on a really high chair and your feet can't touch the ground
"There will be a day when you can say you're okay and mean it. I promise you, it'll all make sense again"
- Dodie Clark // Secret for the mad
I just remembered yesterday I was thinking of what to do if I got sick of my friend how I should kill them and get away with it while avoiding the police. Like for half an hour I was planning step by step how to commit murder instead of telling the friend I don’t want to be friends with them anymore.
My my... If that isn't me
But hey, maybe take a break once in a while before hanging out together again
Intj and I tend to spend a few weeks not chatting cuz well we tend to be busy, and so when we do we'll have new things to catch up on...
Anyways goodluck,
-Intp
Ah fuck, I'm alive
ENTJ: *notices INTP’s textbook* Ooh! INTP, what language is that?
INTP: Hm?
INTP: Italian.
ENTJ: You’re learning Italian? *sigh* I want to learn French, just so I can sing French songs.
INTP: Eh, I don’t know, I’ve been learning this for three months… New record by the way!
ENTJ: Let’s see how long you’ll last lol
(A month later)
ENTJ:Hey-*notices INTP’s writing* …is-is that Japanese?
INTP: …I got distracted.
LOL do you remember some Italian or did all vanish because of Japanese? :’)
I do remember some italian much more than japanese, but uh.. i only remember the basics lol like Basic
would love to study more though :p
INTx stuff
INTJ: I would like my friends to become friends. This way, I can meet all of them at once and be free of socialising needs for at least a month.
INTP: I would like my friends to become friends. This way, they can meet each other and socialise without me.
When you’re a pessimist, you are either right or pleasantly surprised.
INTP the Chameleon
Unlike most people, INTPs do not come pre-programmed with acceptable social behaviour patterns. Rather, they learn to fit in through conscious observation and deliberate mimicry.
While other people talk, the INTP watches and wonders. They observe what a person did and figure out what they should do as a response. Widening their sight, nodding, and smiling, the INTP responded with a fake social skill.
Like actors on a stage set, INTPs are playing a role. They know that being true to themselves doesn't fit too well with average people, they slowly accumulate a little acting knowledge to help them get by.
INTPs could be described as a human chameleon or a mirror. If a person is friendly, funny, boisterous, and waves their hands around a lot, the INTP will start gesticulating, speak in a louder voice, and smile and joke more to match the other’s behaviour. And when the person is finally gone, they will turn into their typical self which often is silent, aloof and nonchalant, and slowly cocoon themselves inside their room.
Most of the time this mimicry is unconscious and is basically the result of playing a role deeply enough that it becomes embedded. Chameleons don’t have to think about changing their skin colour to match leaves and branches--it just happens.
Not that INTPs are good actors. They only act because they have to, and only put forth as much effort as is required to get by. An INTP, for example, does not have a giant palette of varied emotional responses that seem totally genuine. Instead, they are controlling their bodies like a puppet-master controls a puppet, and the resulting clumsy imitation of reality is just not lifelike. But it’s enough to get by, as long as there isn’t too much pressure.
If the pressure increases or the situation warrants it, however, an INTP will switch back to their regular selves for as long as necessary, perhaps stunning their acquaintances with a display of cool, clear, cogitant reasoning.

INTP & Socializing
A glimpse of what INTP's trying hard at socializing looks like
INTP: Is this what they call progress? (Pic of INTP's light conversation in an amino chat)
INTJ: What amino did you join? Furry perhaps ;)
INTP: The leaving group
INTP: left
INTP: deleted
INTP: immediately
INTP: wasn't proud
INTJ: *facelpalms hard*
INTJ: Well, maybe next time?
INTP: No
INTJ: Next time it is then! :D
