so basically im pyromaniac and had a genius idea to burn some paper in a nearly empty candle, and the glass thing the candle came in heated up too much and exploded

Hello, jumpin into this exchange 'cause seein this post on my dash literally right after I burnt a bunch of paper in a nearly empty candle, 'cause I didn't have nothin better to burn things over, was very funny. I guess my "I hope this glass doesn't break" concers were justified.

I had a similar situation when havin the great idea to burn a bunch of random shit on a glass plate. I assumed the glass candles come in would be a lil more heat-resistant.

you can use metal instead, the glass didnt just break, it exploded. i basically had half of my room covered in glass, and a bunch of pretty deep cuts all over my legs
