Pizza of the past!

Park Pizza 52nd opened during the lockdown and brought the community together for delicious pies! It sadly didn’t last very long changing ownership a handful of times and then by the end of 2024 closing unceremoniously without any real goodbye and the storefront being gutted before the end of the year. Don’t know what’s next for the location but have lots of tasty memories during lockdown

Pizza of the past!

Pizza Brain the pizza culture museum and pizzeria is still alive in my heart. Nobody can take the tasty and sweet memories of delicious pizza and quirky digs paired with Little Babies ice cream and so many hangs with good company.

If I ever travel back in time a visit to pizza brain is on top of the list of places I’d like to revisit.

Pizza from the past!

Blackbird Pizzeria served delicious plant based eats. They were set to open a Queens Village location but the construction got ravaged by a fire and only recently has the building been finally refurbished and opened as a new restaurant.

I really enjoyed their cheese stakes, pizzas, calzones and the general Philly grit of the vegan community.
