Charms are usually $10-15USD depending on the design (sometimes I make charms with extra parts XD I doubt I will for the macross ones though) There will probablyyyyyy be bundle prices but I’m not sure what they will be yet XD

First of all, I adore your art and being a follower for such a long time, seeing you improve so much makes me so happy; i hope i can one day go to a con to meet you and buy your prints ; v ; now this is rly out of the blue but I wanted to know what your opinion is and I wanted to ask what final fantasy game (past 6th) you'd recommend? I'm feeling a bit conflicted on which one to try out since I've never gotten past 6th. you don't have to answer this but tysm if you do!!

I think it really depends on you personally because opinions on the Final Fantasy series fluctuates pretty drastically depending on the person.Since you asked though here is my take on it :’DI love Final Fantasy 7. As much as Squeenix has milked the living bejeezus out of this game, I still adore it. The original had wonderful humor, an incredible score, a complicated but intriguing story and oddly endearing characters. Unfortunately the graphics are painfully dated so I’m not sure if you’d be willing to subject yourself through it. Squeenix is in the works on a FF7 remake with a whole new battle system buttttttt...I’ve hated everything that came out of the 7 franchise (Yess that’s including Crisis Core. I’m sorry but screw that game. SLOT MACHINE LIMIT BREAKS AND GACKT AS AN ANNOYING FF CHARACTER ENUFF SAID. I came for the Sephiroth eyelashes and N00blet Cloud) since and I really don’t feel like Squeenix depicts full figure characters as charmingly as they do their chibi people. I haven’t played the new Final Fantasy 15 though so my opinion on this is quite dated.

Final Fantasy 8 has a lot of fans and carries with it a pretty interesting setting / equally good musical score but I’m not a fan. I really really really...hate FF8. I’ve tried to play it 4ish times now and each and every time the sheer frustration I feel from having to lug around this annoying bratling named Rinoa stops me from reaching Disc 3. She’s just...uhg. Horrible. The plot of the game centers the ENTIRE universe around your emotionally stunted ‘Whatever’-man Squall and his inevitable romance with this idiotic girl. But yes, that’s just...how I feel. Some people love Gunblades and think they’re the coolest things in the world. Other people rightfully say: What?IF YOU LIKE CARD GAMES THOUGH FF8 has a surprisingly good cardgame minigame. Oh- and FF8 is also notorious for having the most painstakingly grindy battle system. If you google Spoony’s ff8 review he dedicates an entire video on just the Draw system alone and.......yeah. 

Final Fantasy 9 I couldn’t recommend enough. I’ve always known it was good but due to just life I never got around to getting far with the game on my first play. I recently restarted it up again and- It’s just SO GOOD. If you’re use to the pre-6 Final Fantasy Era, FF9 is not at all unfamiliar. It’s still a semi medieval setting but has the most engaging and lovable characters. I think I’ve managed to cry multiple times because the game is just so pure and precious. The graphics aged surprisingly well too! 

I don’t understand Final Fantasy 10. I gave up on the first introduction of Blitzball. I hated everybody. Especially your protagonist. I actually hated Tidus more than Squall. Arguably more than Rinoa. He spends the first 15 minutes of your game lwhining about being hungry I JUST CAN’T. It does have a fun battle system where you switch characters out on the spot but...It’s like someone drew a buncha Mary Sues at different points in their life then decided to combine all these unrelated designs into one game. Everything about FF10 confuses me.

I haven’t played past 10 but from what I hear everything’s mostly meh from there on out. FF15 seems to be mostly favorable but I honestly don’t feel a nagging need to try it. At least not right now.

This isn’t in the Final Fantasy series but:

If you have a 3DS please also consider Bravely Default. Especially more so if you ever found yourself enjoying Final Fantasy 5 (I LOVED FF5) because it’s honestly the most self aware FF but not FF game Squeenix has ever made with an really modern and interesting take on the Turnbase battle system + amazing music. Unfortunately there is a point in the game where things become really repetitive (I won’t spoil) which seems to be a huge turn off for a lot of people but I personally...didn’t mind it? IF you do play please also load up your game to Title Screen at...I think the start of Chapter 6? I did it by chance while grinding in the middle of the night and got so spooked XD

He was an artist online. Unfortunately he doesn’t have a DA anymore as he deleted it but I suppose nearer to the end he was recognized better as being someone who was a part of Medical Whiskey and Hanakotoba. All the oldbies probably remember him as a regular over at Niko’s PaintChat as he was a moderator there (I think he programmed something too but unsure on this one) as he definitely drew there real often like a decade ago.

I'm terribly sorry to ask this if it makes you uncomfortable, and please ignore me if it does. I've loved Tetsu's art and silently followed him for a long time, but I don't know what happened. I heard he passed, but that is it. Maybe it's not my business knowing, and that's understandable, but if you wouldn't mind, would you shed some light on what happened? If you do know? I'm so sad to hear and I hope his friends and family are coping okay. I'm sorry if this is an in appropriate thing to ask.

Hi again Anon.That is absolutely understandable. I don’t know the full story as to what transpired, as our relationship ended about 3-4 years ago and we haven’t spoken since. I found out about the news 2 weeks (ish) after the fact and given I’m not in the best of relations with his social circles I haven’t made attempts to pry. I did manage to find some specifics later on after following a few leads on social media but I feel uncomfortable with spreading that around. 

In the end all that matters I think is that Tetsu had been suffering from Depression.When a bunch of things in his life fell apart he moved to Vancouver to live with some friends there to start a life afresh. Unfortunately this move turned out to be harder on him than expected and he succumbed to his state of mind.

As for thoughts...there’s a lot to be said and very little reason to say it. If you have any specific questions you wish to ask I am willing to answer them but everything I feel is really jumbled into a lot of what had happened between us, what little information I can glean from hovering around people in his life and my relations with the people we mutually know.
