I am a member of the Nashville Zoo. I go all the time. This is in the "Unseen New World" building. Basically where all the snakes and spiders and bats are.

I fucking hate this sign. Even without the ominous phrasing, the esthetics of it are awful. Why are only some parts of the lettering painted to match the background? Why is the lettering height not consistent?

Honestly, the whole building needs an update. It's old and apparently the roaches they use to feed the animals constantly escape. Sure, the new Leopard Forest probably brings in more members than Unseen New World, but, still.

oh, yeah. I'm a volunteer at the zoo. The building definitely could use a few updates, although it definitely isn't as high a priority as some other habitats.

Ragatha was the only one he really seemed to care about. She was the only one that he didn't hurt in his other scenarios. She was the only one he forced Pomni out of. She was the only one that caused him to get emotional, in his own, unstable way.

So... Kaufmo would've been the only abstraction Zooble and Gangle have ever seen. Gangle showed up just after Ribbit abstracted, and Zooble showed up somewhere between her and Pomni. And Goose said that Ribbit was who had abstracted before Kaufmo. So, in between them, nobody else abstracted. So that was Gangle and Zooble's first actual rodeo with abstraction.

can I just admit on main I find it really strange how 90% of post-Ep 8 torture sequence art is of Pomni comforting Jax and never the other way around despite her also just having gone through something incredibly traumatic

Not strange to me. That's just most of Funnybunny angst. They rarely have Jax comforting Pomni, and yet some say Ragapom is just for making Ragatha feel loved when it seems far more balanced to me.

I do admit though, in their defence, Jax' vulnerability hating "doesn't admit he wants to care" ass doesn't exactly lend himself well to soft comfort the way Pomni does, which is clearly what they're going for. And he has been in the most pain lately dancing on the edge of abstraction. But still, you think they'd find some way. @absolutedream-art was certainly able to pull off believable Jax to Pomni comfort.

Oh it certainly doesn't surprise me lol, I'm well aware it's just the most recent in a long, agonizing line of funnybunny shippers treating Pomni like a walking cardboard cutout that can only compute Jax's suffering and be a flawless pillar of hope for him. Which I just find weird and offputting in general.

Y'know your Tiny AUs have been making me wonder: what would've happened if an actual child wandered into the building and put on the headset? I imagine being in the Circus would be quite the experience for them

You know before episode 8 I would have said that maybe the circus would be toned down if an actual child was there with them but after that reveal that Caines emotionally unregulated ass made the circus himself and lied about a majority of things I would actually PRAY for any child unfortunate enough to end up there

Okay I have an OC who is a child who ended up in the circus. It definitely overstimulated her immediately, and she thought that everybody looked scary (except for Jax, because. Idk she's six years old, and there's a jester, ragdoll (she already had a fear of dolls), whatever Zooble is, a pile of ribbons, a chess piece, and a purple bunny man. You tell me which one is the friendliest looking, personality aside), and Caine was way too loud. Caine tries to create adventures that were appropriate for her. They were not. He severely misunderstood what's appropriate for human children.
