I am a homeowner!!

On August 31,2016, I signed off my life off to a 1,200 square-foot house. After three months of searching and lots of disappointment, the time finally came. Before I get into the actual house, I'll tell you a little background story. 

For the last three months I have been on the search for a house. The first house I put an offer on was decline due to a cash offer out beating me. The second house I wanted to put an offer on already had an accepted offer by the time I even looked at the house. The third house I was ready to put an offer on was beautiful, but unfortunately was priced higher than what it was worth. I was so discouraged and though I was never going to find a place. The fourth house I put an offer on was accepted!! I finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel. The hunt was over. I scheduled an inspection for the following week and 30 minutes into the inspection I got a call saying this house was just a disaster. Great, I thought. I'm back to square one. But everything happens for a reason and this house not working out was a blessing. 

The fifth house become the one. I made sure to see it as soon as possible and put an offer on it that night. A couple days later I found out my offer was accepted!! Inspection went smoothly and it felt like a thousand pounds lifted off my shoulders. Fast forward about a month and the house is mine. 

I closed on the house August 31, 2016. I became a home owner at the age of 22 (a week shy of 23). Never in my life did I think that would happen. This house is a fixer upper and I am so excited about it! Even though it will take some time to redo and make perfect, I am excited to make my vision become a reality and to move into my dream house!
