Vincent van Gogh - "Bowl with Peonies and Roses" (1886)
One of the most challenging things for me is realizing that I've been acting subconsciously based on my past experiences and that my actions affect someone I love.
I understand that it’s my responsibility to correct my behavior and explore its origins. I need to reflect on where these actions began and take the time to sit with and feel those emotions, no matter how uncomfortable they may be. Ultimately, my healing and growth are my own responsibility, and it's not easy, especially when it involves reliving painful experiences.

Advice for a 23 year old in college that doesn’t feel “grown” enough?
Feeling like you're not "grown up" enough at 23 in college is normal. Life is messy, and nobody has it figured out, despite what social media says. The idea of being a perfect adult is BS; you're already dealing with tough stuff like classes and bills. So don't beat yourself up for feeling lost. Focus on small victories, talk to people and don't compare yourself to others. You're doing well, even if it feels like a struggle.
tomboyism is so funny to me. gender non-conformity for girls is acceptable for like two minutes between the ages of 8 and 10. beyond that it’s appalling and you’re a freak but for those two years…… they could’ve had it all
