So I know I have a minisclue following but I figured i’d put this out there!!

My name’s Joey! I use they/them pronouns and I’m chronically ill! I ignore it when I can and don’t love talking abt it but it’s been an issue for me lately so i’m gonna say some things.

I can’t go to school full time and often find it difficult and painful to wake up/get out of bed. I’m very very isolated by my illness. When I first got sick I lost a lot of friends i guess cause i couldn’t keep up. I’ve had a very small circle of support since then and it’s been working! However, recently i’ve had some issue with the people who are supposed to be supporting me invalidating my illness. Needless to say, my heart is broken.

I want to get better and I want to take care of myself but I find it hard to do that when I feel so alone all the time. I don’t have many opportunities to make friends irl so i figured i’d reach out and post on a couple social medias!

I’m looking for some friends (preferably 17+) that I can talk to daily! I wont bother u to respond quicker or anything i just want some people i can spout nonsense to or get to know more about!!

I’m really into taz/the mcelroys but lately ive also been listening to the magnus archives!! i love ghosts and mushrooms and dogs! I would really really love if ppl reached out to me to become fast friends!!

I had a dream last night and this idea came from it.

Its been a long while since ive been active on tumblr and idk if it’s because its become more normalized or im just noticing it more since now i am disabled but ive noticed so much more use of image descriptions and i am so happy and touched!!!

(While I personally dont need image descriptions I did lose a good chunk of my vision to my illness :(( im very happy that we’re making things more accessible)
