For my first essay, from all the topics I wrote down the main one that got my attention the most is abortions. I think my thesis is not stated well and that is missing some more words to it, that it may change. It has been awhile that I have not written and outline or essay. My thesis so far is, “ Is abortion the right decision to make? I’m against abortion and I know it is a huge issue in our society today. It could be avoided if women take time to really think about what they are really doing when they abort a pregnancy. Many people believe it is a crime and for others it is against their religion to kill an unborn child. In the other hand, others think it is a good choice to do if that victim was rape or their life is on risk.” In my first main point it will be history of it and I will show what countries have the highest rate of abortions, It will go on showing the ages abortion is happening the most. My second point will explain what an abortion is and what types of abortions there are. In one of my points I will explain what the procedure of an abortion is. Then it will follow with why women decide to abort the child and not give it on adoption. My other points will show why it’s against some peoples religions and I will show two or three different types of religion beliefs. So, far these are some of my main points, I’m still outlining and thinking of more points and trying to get more information and it may change. If I decide to change the topic my second choice will be child abuse.
