I just found out that mistletoe (which is a parasitic plant) spreads in a very unique way. The juice of the mistletoe berry is sticky, like glue. So when a bird poops after eating a mistletoe berry, the seed gets stuck on its butt. The bird then proceeds to wipe its butt on a tree limb, leaving the seed behind to germinate in the cracks of the tree.

Mistletoe, then, is nature’s skid marks.
