I stopped listening to protocol for months because my husband was just starting it, and I wanted him to catch up so we could listen together. So of course I also avoided tumblr because spoilers.

Last night we finally, finally caught up.

I opened my phone this morning, hoping to go check the tags and read all the theories I missed out on. And they just. Dropped the season two premiere on patreon. And my husband asked me to wait until we have a chance to listen to it together.

So now I still can't interact with the fandom in any way. I love this man. I really do. But I am suffering here.

One thing that’s interesting about Archives vs Protocol is how the avatars used to lurk in the shadows and didn’t seem to want attention. In Protocol one of the avatars is an influencer who gets into beefs and makes callout videos. Another one is a recognizable children’s tv star

Idk it’s just interesting to me that they seem to crave or maybe even need attention in this universe as opposed to operating in the dark and at times actively working to keep attention off themselves

Gwen Bouchard having a skewed view of the aristocracy is about the least surprising thing about her and I find it odd that people are shocked by it.

Of course she does. She comes from old money, she has old money friends, she is a product of her environment. Everything about her established sense of entitlement and inflexibility of thinking screams "aristocrat" at full volume. Why would you expect her to be different?
