//Well Viego is in timeout I guess. Not sure how Iâm supposed to RP off of that. His entire character is based on this event happening, which itâs not happening anymore. So Iâm kind of stumped whatâs supposed to happen now with this guy or how plots even work anymore LOL
//Iâd... really like to RP Viego properly instead of disappearing. But, from the small amount of characters related to him that do roleplay, theyâve already exclusively interact to specific Viegos that are around and Iâm just left with.... well, not a whole lot going on.Â
Not really sure if I want to commit to him anymore.Â
//Mmm yes, I shall be active here now.Â
âStand aside, peasants! Your king arises from his slumber!âÂ
iceflowersâ:
âEnemyship ended with Sett. Now Viego is my biggest foe.â
âKnow your place, sky lizard. You are nothing before me. No more than another mind to control. Not even your dear Karma could resist being ruined, and I didnât even try to take her for myself.â
A thundering crack into the ground is released. Anguish of his bitter heart reflects the ever consuming power of the ruination. His blade, now deeply planted into the ground quivers. Necrotic magics seep deeply into soil, purging the earth of its fertility. An old holiday had taken place today. One he used to be fond of during the times where he could spend it with her. But, such a reality is gone from him. Now, all thatâs left is despair.Â
It was a grim reminder, if not the worst that he is damned. For reasons not even he could remember.Â
Not that it mattered.Â
Viego rises from his throne, regarding the hollowed steps before him in a dignified pose, standing tall as a king is expected to. It was fascinating, this âHeartseekerâsâ day. How suddenly, everyone wishes to express love even more than any normal days. To him, that was every day. It disgusted him.Â
âThey think they know âloveâ..? They dream of it, but wonât even go the lengths I would. Ignorant welps.âÂ
//Just some thoughts on the Color StoryÂ
Overall, I did like it. It was a good way to convey Viegoâs behavior without having to be in your face about it.Â
However, I do have my own criticisms about it. First and foremost, the story (or rather lack thereof). Iâm not gonna lie, I was kind of hoping for a flashback story to his life before the ruination. To get a glimpse of the man that was once there and how he and Isolde truly were like all of those years ago. Unfortunately, this is not it.
As for the actual story, it was kind of... lacking substance? Iâm not sure how I would put this, but it feels like nothing of much significance is going on? Hereâs what happens; Viego is sitting, gets annoyed, throws his sword. Forward point in time, he walks through his army, tells guy to give him the thing, guy gives him the thing, then he kills everything.Â
And thatâs it. There wasnât really any driving points or build up to whatâs going on and why. He just goes to his desired location, kills everyone, then gets his music box.Â
I felt like there couldâve been a lot more done here. Especially with how Viego interacts with his centuries old armies. Not to mention there probably couldâve been more dialogue between him and the other king.Â
Overall, Iâd give it a 6.5/10. Enjoyable to read, but there wasnât much of anything going on with the story.Â
"You are but the pale shadow of a man, driven on by the remnants of petty emotions. Kneel, or I shall return you from whence you came."
âYou..?â Viego rises from his throne, gripping the blade at his side, âYou dare challenge my authority? My royal blood?â Eyebrows crease in anger at the ascended being. A heat he hadnât experienced in some thousand years arose in his chest at the sudden insult from someone who came from nothing.Â
âYou claim ruler-ship without birthright. You are no more an abomination than I am, fool! Only at least I keep the form of my previous flesh, while your body succumbed to the damnation of the sun. I will not kneel to anyone. Especially someone of filthy slave blood!â His voice, once claim, had raised.
Viegoâs nerves had been touched in a way no one else dared to tread upon in fear of his own wrath. Xerath was the first man Viego could ever feel matched in contest of ego. Things could get rather ugly soon if either of them would proceed further with this confrontation. The king grits his teeth, illuminated eyes of death staring right back at the arcane manifestation before him. A mist crawled beneath his feet, threatening to commence forth towards where Xerath idly hovered.Â
Are you and Mordekaiser good pals?
âMordekaiser... Iâve only heard vague words and read books of his existence. Regardless of who he is, thereâs no doubt in my mind that as one king to another Iâll leave his territory to his own devices. Iâve no interest in his conquest. My goals differ.âÂ
The king cocks a brow. Curiosity piqued his eyes with the mention of the name... Mordekaiser, a King of a region more northward aways from Viegoâs own home. As a boy, heâs heard terrifying stories of his reign and his possible return. To his knowledge now, he and that tyrant are both cursed with a similar magic. Perhaps thatâd be the only thing they have in common. Either way, Viego chose not to interfere with any affairs dealing with the particular death lord.Â
âTruly, I admire his efforts for his rule. Although kingship was never my interest to begin with, Iâve heard many great feats done by him. I commend him for that, much.âÂ
"You have been silent for some time." Commented Thresh with eyes narrowed, cast out across the edge of the Isles. Amusement laced his skull visage with ethereal flames locking along every detail upon it. The Warden was never a part of the Ruined King's kingdom prior to the desolation of the Blessed Isles. Where was his loyalty then? To the King? Or to himself?
Spectral eyes gazed upon the lands, a blade in hand and his grip tight. Viego turns his head to face him, his ire becoming more visible the longer he stared. For the reason he had to be were in the whispers of Isolde. His blade spoke to him, where exactly she was this entire time. And just what she had experienced. The kingâs glare gave no quarter.Â
âIn times of thought, I must stay silent. For the words of my love... she has quite the stories within her. Especially with that woman... Senna... that was her name.âÂ
He makes a step, now fully facing the warden with egregious discontent. Viego takes steps down from the balcony, passing Thresh some feet away. Something about his aura was more sinister. Malicious. Followed by the tinge of melancholy as well. From the way he stood, and the way he walked. Only negative feelings. All channeled towards his loyal warden.Â
âI trust that you of all people would know that name, am I correct?âÂ
His voice had not carried curiosity, but an outstanding anger. He absolutely knew where Isolde was. And all the time she had spent inside of Senna. With that, he could conclude where Isolde must have gone the moment Thresh took Senna for his own indulgence. Viegoâs temper could remain so patient, as he had hoped that he was wrong. That he had no reason to be angry towards Thresh. That it wasnât treachery, or better yet, he wasnât aware of his possession of the Queen herself.Â
//Proper rules page made!Â
âI want to know what love is to you.â
âLove is one of the few things that gave me a purpose. That gave me a reason to even breathe whenever I arose from my slumber...âÂ
Viego stands before the aspect. Would he be judged for his crimes? If that was her intention, then he would take whatever she would have to say to him. The dark angel, a rumored witch... but he knew of who she was. What she does. And redemption for him was beyond reach. Death claimed him too late for her to save him. Perhaps his justification would be the only thing he has left to explain himself to her.Â
âBut this world stole that away from me. Magic that they claimed to be blessed only sullied my precious Isolde. An insult to her once immeasurable beauty. Turning her against me in her own madness. That I cannot stand. That I will not stand. No more.âÂ
The man manifests his blade to his side, rending it from the shadows. He plants the weapon bladefirst into the rotted dirt beneath him, looking to Morgana.Â
âAnd if I must defile this land to bring her back, to restore what she once was, then Iâll damn all of those who stand in my way. And not once will I regret it. Even if it kills me for good.âÂ
âI want to know who you hated.â
    âWho I hated?âÂ
The questions catches the king off guard. Why this mortal would ask him such a question so suddenly brought fascination. And curiosity. For the brief moment, Viego rises from his throne of cruelty and regards the stranger. A glare that could slay an entire legion surfaces from his face to her.Â
âEveryone. The family that expected too much of me. The people who desired I to govern. The world who took away my love for their own reasons of disruption. And for that, all must suffer. All must feel the pain that I feel. For the world hath earn my scorn.âÂ
Viego, despite his words, kept his own composure ensuring that he didnât allow his emotions to get out of hand. For his anger alone already caused much destruction. The mist tied his emotions demanded more, after all. The king of ruin seats himself upon his throne again, leaning back with ease.Â
âDoes that answer your question? Begone with you.âÂ
