Vietnam: 3rd World Girl Crisis

Before going to Vietnam for an internship, I’ve met with friends who’ve been there to spend short vacations. Instead of doing more online research, it’s easier to ask people with actual experiences of being there even for just a few days. And of course, one of the things I asked was the financial aspect of living there.

The ride is over. I will miss Vietnam. I have tons of memorable moments that I didn't capture in photos. I've met a lot of interesting people -- both good and bad. Forced myself to learn how to cook, ride a big-ass bike (because I'm just a small Asian) and sometimes pretend to be somebody else. Most of all, I fell in love with Hanoi. There were sleepless nights and days of anxiety. Intoxications and some sorts of high. And low. Vietnam will always have a very special place in my heart. It's where I bled and healed, and every day felt like a fckng episode! This place is my foe and my friend. PS. To the friends I've met there: you will always have a crazy friend in the Philippines!
