Dear friends and followers,
As some of you probably know, my ability to keep a surprise secret is, at best, inept - but I think I just barely managed to keep this one under wraps. The moment has finally arrived for me to share something I’ve been working on for a while, and honestly, it still feels a little unreal.
Between Forgotten Tides: Volume 1, my graphic novel, has officially been published! And today, for the first time, I’m holding the physical copy in my hands. It’s surreal to see it all come to life after years of work, and I’ve been emotional since the box of books arrived at my door.
I’ve been sketching, storyboarding, and illustrating these pages since early 2021; but the story itself had been under development for much, much longer. While the thought of still being only 1/3 of the way through the series is rather daunting, this is still a massive milestone for me and a dream come true, to say the least.
There’s so much gratitude I want to express, especially to my friends and family who have supported me through this whole process - from those who read the original script beta, to my Patreon subscribers, and to all my casual readers alike. A huge thank you to my dad, who helped fund the first print run - I seriously couldn’t have done this without you.
If all goes according to plan, BFT will be hitting local bookstore shelves in the Bay Area sometime this year. I’ll share more details on where and when you can grab a copy.
