Happy Valentines, my friends!
The first time I read To Kill a Mockingbird, I loved Scout because I was Scout. I, too, had an attorney father who taught me to read in his broad lap,

🎃 🎃 (Even more) Quintessential Halloween movies and chill? Because once again, it’s just about that time of the year. Les get spooky. 🎃 🎃
it’s trans MEN and trans WOMEN, not transmasc and transfem, like literally shut the fuck UP, they’re MEN AND WOMEN, that’s who they are!!! “transmasc” and “transfem” puts them in a separate category than men & women!! you’re being transphobic!! stop fucking calling them that!!
I hate when people tell you to listen to lgbt voices and then you do and they say NO those are the WRONG voices??? like dude???
Nonbinary men and nonbinary women are oxymorons
You can’t be genderless yet you’re a man or a woman like. You can be gender nonconforming, but not both nonbinary and a man/woman
Nonbinary people aren't just genderless?
Nonbinary just means not binary.
Nonbinary people can be both male and female, they can be genderless, they can be genderfluid, they can be half male and half genderless or half female and half genderless.
You don't know how their dysphoria works or how their brains process gender. Chill a bit.
Nonbinary means outside of the gender binary so that automatically excludes male and female and quite possibly genderfluid since genderfluidity can’t exist without male or female
A person cannot be outside of the binary while being in the binary.
wait, why is a “neurological incongruence” necessary to be seen in non-dysphoric gender incongruent people to determine whether they’re trans or not? You’ve said before that as long as the body maps don’t match the body someone can be trans, even if their overall brain structure doesn’t resemble that of the opposite sex’s. All gender incongruence is, is incongruence with your sex without a clinically significant distress behind it. If they transition, then they’re trans. (Part 1)
(Part 2) also, “brain sex” studies on transsexuals showing a neuro likeness to the opposite sex in them are correlational studies. They don’t mean that having a sex-atypical brain is definitely what causes incongruence/dysphoria, or that one MUST have a sex-atypical brain to be considered trans. You’re trans as long as you are attempting to physically and socially transition to the opposite sex. People with GI are just a type of transitioner who doesn’t transition to escape dysphoria.
These studies show that parts of the brain we recognize to be linked with body recognition are distorted as well as other parts being more like the opposite sex, which is how scientists draw those conclusions. If it were purely correlation, you could be sure other scientists would be pointing that out in the discussion surrounding those topics because people LOVE to debunk each other when it comes to research.
Your personal view on what makes someone trans is all well and good but it disqualifies a lot of people who otherwise fit the label, such as closeted people. Gender incongruence doesn’t mean anything, it’s too vague to be defined consistently or used as a parameter for research.
There’s more that I could say but you’ve already stated my views above; having the body map of the opposite sex, which we identify through gender dysphoria, is what makes you trans. Whatever you have to say about that is your thing and doesn’t change my stance.
Idiots on Reddit are complaining about people against cold transitioners, using the tired arguments of, "the small percentage of detransitioners shouldn't affect anything!" and, "you think it's HEALTHY to have kids watch their bodies MUTATE?!" One voice of reason spoke up about how there really are issues, and how there's not enough research to verify if its okay yet, and, well, let's just say the poor sap was shut down and drowned out pretty quickly.
Of course. Being trans is politicized now so people treat the, well, treatment like it’s some immense moral crusade instead of like the medical condition it is.
If the release of Cuties taught me something it was that pedophilia and child exploitation is overlooked and even encouraged when it comes from adult women towards children. The director being a black woman doesn’t make the fact that she ordered little girls to perform sexual dances with revealing outfits on and had a little girl get her pants pulled down to show her underwear suddenly empowering and good.
There is a million better ways to show that pedophilia and the sexualization of little girls is bad. Why don’t hire adult actresses that look young? Why don’t make the movie without showing any of the takes where the camera is focused on these girls’ chests and pelvises?
Making a movie about the traumatizing experience of a little girl resorting to self sexualization to escape an hyper conservative family isn’t the issue, the issue is that by trying to convey this message the director potentially traumatized all these child actresses. It’s like wanting to make a movie about how murder is bad and going around shooting people to make the message go through.
We all know if the director was a man, even if he was a man making a movie about little boys, his head would be on a stick from day one (rightfully so). And the director being a woman gives pedophiles, both male and female, a free pass to praise this movie and talk about how they wish more movies were like this one without any consequences.
Habits, Tics, Stims, Compulsions, and Behaviors
You are tapping your foot. Someone asks you to stop. You do. You feel no ill effects aside from maybe disappointment at having to stop. You tap your foot often. This is a habit.
You are tapping your foot, whether you want to or not. Someone asks you to stop. You can’t. If you try to it feels like holding in a sneeze and the pressure builds up. It might come out in a different, even less controllable action. This is a tic.
You are tapping your foot. Someone asks you to stop. You do, but immediately feel worse physically or emotionally. It was a way for you to express yourself and how you feel. You may feel pressure. This is a stim.
You are tapping your foot. Someone asks you to stop. You can’t, because if you do something bad will happen, possibly some specific bad thing. You know it’s irrational, but not doing it gives you anxiety. This is a compulsion.
You are tapping your foot. Someone asks you to stop. You can’t, because if you do this specific bad thing will happen. It is not irrational to you, although it is to others. This is an erratic/disorganized behavior.
good to know
I don’t care if you’re a woman or Muslim or black or whatever, the second you make children show their underwear and perform sexual acts on screen you deserve to have your skull bashed open.
Yes! Spreading misinformation about what transition is/isn’t capable of does nothing but make trans people feel hopeless about their body and their transition! But you are contributing to exactly that when you describe FTM bottom surgery options and results as not functional, “not actually a penis”, “shitty”, “terrible”, and “a very obviously fake penis”. Those statements don’t do anything positive for trans men with severe bottom dysphoria or trans men who intend to/have had bottom surgery.
I have severe bottom dysphoria, thank you. Wanna know how bad? Female dogs make me dysphoric on account of how dogs often laze about and constantly lick themselves which is like...stupidly stupid, isn’t it? So yeah, maybe don’t speak for all of us.
And I’m sorry but getting hurt or upset over someone saying the results of phalloplasty aren’t an actual penis is akin to getting upset at someone for saying we’re still biologically our birth sex, especially when the person stating as such is trans. Trying to say it’s akin to lying about how we’ll never pass if we reach the magical age of 18 before we transition is ridiculous and a little messed up.
Anyway, I’m 100% allowed to state my opinion on a surgical procedure, especially one that pertains to me, and factually has a long way to go. There are huge improvements that need to be made or just better options all around. I admit if I ever did say “shitty” and “terrible” (I legitimately can’t remember because I have a bad memory) then those specific words were probably a bit insensitive, but “not actually a penis” and “a very obviously fake penis” are not.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with me saying either of those things considering I’ve seen the results of phalloplasty many times. In fact, it’s important to note that phalloplasty will not give you a particularly realistic penis or a fully functional one. Keeping that hush-hush because you believe it doesn’t do anything “positive” for trans men, especially those who intend to have bottom surgery, is in fact harmful because it could lead to a false idea of what they’re getting into and could end up with hopes dashed and surgery regret.
Or in other words, please stop babying trans people. Many of us have thicker skin than that.
Hey Antis, if you'd like to see an actual attempt at normalizing pedophilia/child molestation and child pornography in a society, look no further than the film Cuties.
This film features real, prepubescent girls, being sexual and promiscuous and even dancing for two older men, and then dancing like sluts on stage, touching themselves. There are constant, drawn out close ups of their bodies, their crotches, their bottoms, during those scenes.
I only know this because I looked at the reasons for why a film featuring prepubescent children is rated MA-- you know, for mature audiences? I've also watched countless videos calling it out for what it is. Because I don't think I could fucking stomach, actually watching something like that.
Real children. Little girls. This isn't a social commentary or basically "criticizing" the sexualization of little girls-- NOPE, that's a lie. The movie is literally about a prepubescent little girl and other little girls "exploring their feminine sexuality" and "pushing back against tradition family values." I guess it's wrong that parents or a society don't want children dancing like a stripper and touching themselves in front of a crowd of grownups, and taking photos of their private parts to post? I guess it's wrong we don't like seeing the exploitation of REAL children????
CHILDREN SHOULD NOT BE CONCERNED WITH BEING SEXUAL THEY DO NOT NEED TO BE EXPLORING ANYTHING SEXUAL. THIS IS LITERAL GROOMING COMING STRAIGHT FROM MAINSTREAM MEDIA. THIS IS HOW YOU GET LITTLE KIDS BELIEVING IT'S OKAY TO BE 'SEXUAL' FOR ADULTS, THAT IT'S NORMAL.
Netflix is literally being looked into for investigation by the DOJ for distributing "Child adult Films"-- aka child pornography.
Remember people throwing a bitch for when hospitals said they will be prioritizing cancer treatment over gender reassignment? Saying it'll lead to transgenders killing themselves more? I know that gender dysphoria sucks, but commiting suicide over it is an active choice. Dying of cancer isn't.
Yeah, exactly. Trust me, I know gender dysphoria is awful and it causes so much suffering and I get the temptation to commit suicide too as I experience it constantly, but it’s still an active choice.
Trans healthcare is important and should definitely be provided, but when it comes to prioritizing something like cancer or ensuing people with other medical conditions (most of which are significantly more common) aren’t hurt or fucked over is kind of a no-brainer.
Blaire White did a video condemning Cuties, and OH BOY it looks worse than I thought.
Yeah, my friend’s been arguing with pro-Cuties people and I came to that same conclusion with all the reviews she had collected from people who had watched it. Who the fuck thought this was a good idea??
I've done a lot of research on detransitioners, and one story I read was of a girl who started to develop breasts before any of her friends. She was teased for it, and it lead to her hating her chest. She searched, "I hate my breasts" on Google (as young kids are prone to do), and a bunch of results for being trans popped up. The girl was immediately convinced she was actually a boy, changed her name,
and requested to go by male pronouns. A year later, she's on blockers, and not long after that she's taking T. About three years down the road she looks at herself in the mirror, depressed and confused, and realised that her problem wasn't gender dysphoria, but rather body dysmorphia. Only now she has dysphoria because her voice is too low, she's still growing facial hair, and she's got an adam's apple. Poor thing.
----
yeah the fact that there isn't a more thorough screening before having kids start life changing hormones is pretty fucking gross. I've been saying for a while now we are about to see a huge population of detransitioners and it's already begun, loads of articles are coming out basically blowing the cover on the shitty politics that are actively harming trans and cis people alike.
Like this isn't a conspiracy against tucutes anymore. Autistic females in the UK are being barred from transitioning basically because of this, they have doubled the necessary wait times and added more hoops to jump through because so many people just went straight for full transition instead of getting therapy first.
I hate that detransitioners and their experiences are being used to fuel agendas though... all politics aside, they're humans who have had something terrible happen that they're recovering from and spreading awareness about. Listen to and respect detransitioners.
