Love the scar positivity ❤️ This summer I am debuting my brand new 4 inch scar from skin cancer removal on my left shoulder. It makes me self conscious but I’m growing to feel it’s me now.

So let me add, if I may: go out dress however you feel best and if you’ve got exposed skin outdoors, use sunscreen…I promise you won’t regret wearing sunscreen. You may regret NOT.

My big scar is a part of me and will join the others as things I grow into loving but if I could go back in time and properly prevent it, I WOULD.
