Just watched the Good Omens finale.

I think I understand why Michael Sheen chose to do Traitors right now…so he’d be in a castle in Scotland with no phone and he wouldn’t see us reacting to the Good Omens finale.

Crowley and Aziraphale died, essentially. That’s weak writing and I can’t defend it. It isn’t fair to the characters or us.

Even the humans at the end that looked like them…it wasn’t them. Aziraphale and Crowley are dead. And Muriel :(

It’s like they read one human AU fic and said “ok, we’ll recycle this one”

Just…ugh, why did they do this? I’m so sad.

I hated this Good Omens ending. It was genuinely awful. My standards were low. They dug into the abyss and pissed in the ground on their way.

you don't understand. i'm devastated so entirely by the ending i cannot even appreciate the fact that aziraphale cosplayed as legolas in the opening scene.

6000 years. they'd been friends for 6000 years and spent the whole time pretending they weren't. they loved each other more than anything else in the universe and they only got a couple of years to live without heaven and hell breathing down their necks after saving the world. they didn't get any time at all to live together with everything out in the open. nightingales might have sang in berkeley square again but they weren't there to hear them. they never got to be an us. after all that.
