Trapped in another world by Pitch, Jack is near death from being cut off from MiM's powers until he is saved by a Bewilderbeast. This makes Jack mortal by day and immortal by night, but it's only a matter of time before his time runs out.
With the aid of a Light Fury and a vigilante named Valka, Jack helps rescue dragons while searching for Pitch and a way back home.
At no point was meeting a Dragon Rider named Hiccup part of his plan.

I LOVE TROAS, its the first Hijack fic I've read and the one that made me INSANE about these two. So, in honor of its sequel, "Home is Where the Heart is", getting updated today (still freaking out about that), I thought I'd illustrate one of my FAVORITE moments in TROAS.
Hiccup not only making art of Jack but also gifting it to him, once he saw how special it was to Jack, just... hits. As an artist, my art is my way of connecting with the world, with the people around me. I believe one of the most beautiful things we can ever do as creators is show and gift someone anything we created. Its so incredibly human, so incredibly loving, in ways I can't put into words. Which is why this scene is so important to me, even if it doesnt seem that deep. Ugh, I love Hijack. They're so precious. Thank you Em for writing such a beautiful fic, your work is amazing 🥹

Ok now she's bothering me about my fashion choices but to be so fair its because I've been wearing a striped, black and white long-sleeved shirt underneath a varying, regular black one (treading emo territory i guess) and she says it looks like Beetlejuice lmao. And well, she's not wrong. I just think its funny.
