Losing Them
Summary:
It's the moment when something starts falling apart that sends you into a never-ending loop of overanalyzing thoughts and an aching hurt that seemingly never heals.
They used to be close. They used to be best friends. It was just the two of them, until Pidge came along. Then, there was the three of them. And Lance, he didn’t mind—the more the merrier! Pidge was also a good friend, but Hunk remained his best friend. And he had always thought that he would forever remain Hunk’s best friend as well.
But things change…
He couldn’t quite pinpoint the exact moment everything shifted out of place. He couldn’t exactly say when he started picking up the slightest details that hinted towards his feelings of isolation and separation from his friends. The slightest details like how Hunk and Pidge would always gravitate towards each other and engage into conversations that are beyond Lance’s comprehension, like how they seem to sit beside each other and leave Lance feeling like an outsider, like how the little jabs at Lance made him feel that much more like he was drowning. Soon enough, he never felt that warm comfort he used to feel when hanging out with his friends. Instead, that feeling was replaced with a cold bitterness and a distance that felt worlds apart. Nothing felt quite right anymore.
He didn’t know if he was the one to blame at first. Was it his fault for not being able to keep up with the conversation? Was it his fault for feeling distant? Was it his fault that as time went on, he started to hang out less and less with Hunk and Pidge, watching from afar as they grew closer and he was left in the dust?
In the end, all he was certain about was the aching pain in his chest and the burning sensation behind his eyes at the very thought of the friendship that once used to hold so much importance to him—to them. Now, it was just an empty shell of what it used to be. Did they even notice his hurt? Did they even realize the gap that grew between them was too large to patch now? Did they even care?
He was pushed even further away when Hunk had replaced him with Pidge as his best friend. Lance was never more heartbroken than the first moment Hunk had called her his best friend, not even giving Lance a second glance.
And now, Lance could barely recall any good time with the three of them without memories of the hurt, without overanalyzing everything they ever did together to come to the conclusion of what had happened to them now.
Lance was so done with everything and everyone. The pain people brought made it hard to imagine that forming relationships with others was even worth it. If in the end they always hurt you, why even try?
He grew more distant to the point where he thought they didn’t matter to him anymore. That nothing they could ever do would hurt him more. With time, the pain that the friendships had brought would fade. Yet, at night he laid in bed feeling the tears overflow and spill down his cheeks, soaking his pillowcase.
The pain never did seem to fade.
How To Make Him Love You
“Hello,” Lance waved enthusiastically at the camera, sitting on his bed. His face was flushed and his eyes were shining with happiness. He had his hands clasped together on his lap, but his legs were kicking out and in with visible excitement.
“Today was amazing,” he grinned. “All the teachers at the Galaxy Garrison are so intelligent and their teaching methods are easy to follow along. One of the teachers seems to be a bit intimidating and mean, but I’m sure that I’m just overthinking it. So far everything has been great. I was able to come home for the weekend since the workload isn’t heavy yet. I’m really gonna miss home, but I’m also really excited for the dorm life, ya know? My roommate is really friendly and we’ve been getting along really well.”
He unclasped his hands to press them against the bed and lean back, staring up at the ceiling as he continued on after releasing a sigh. “Anyway, I’ll talk about how great my roommate is some other time. We’re still getting to know each other. I just hope we continue to get along and maybe become friends.”
He moved to sit cross-legged on the bed, running a hand through his brown curls. “I had my first encounter with Keith. I can’t get over how beautiful his eyes are and how cute he is! Like, how can one person be so—so perfect? He can even pull off the mullet! Who does he think he is?”
Blinking, Lance coughed into his fist and looked away, face flushing a deep red. “A-Anyway. Our first encounter, yeah? So, in class the teacher passed out a pop quiz and Keith probably lost his pencil in the previous class or something because he was searching his bag and couldn’t find a writing utensil, cursing when his search came up empty. He turned to me and scratched the back of his neck, looking all embarrassed for asking to borrow a pencil from me! It was so friggin’ cute! Like, aaughh. I can’t.”
Lance threw himself back to lay on his bed, covering his face with both hands as he gushed over how attractive the best fighter pilot at his school was. A loud shout of his name startled him into sitting up and tripping over himself to turn off the camera with a quick “bye. Gotta set the table!”
What a Hot Topic
(A/N: Quick fic inspired by @ceciledraws –> this post: https://ceciledraws.tumblr.com/post/189249499847/so-hear-me-out-post-canon-au-where-everyone-is)
It was almost Halloween and his friends still hadn’t gone out to buy costumes yet, so Lance arranged a date where they would all be free to go costume shopping and hang out. As soon he was out the door and heading to his car, his phone began to ring. He picked it up on the third ring, bringing his phone to his ear as he twirled his car keys around a finger of his free hand.
“Hello?”
“Hey, Lance. It’s me,” a husky voice spoke. Lance rolled his eyes, smiling softly at the greeting.
“You’re lucky you have a very distinct voice Keith.”
“Lucky that you can pick me out from my voice alone, besides my haircut?” Came Keith’s teasing response. “Anyway, I’m here to pick you up.”
Lance blinked and glanced across the street to see Keith leaning against his motorcycle, helmet under his arm and phone pressed against his ear. His dark, stormy eyes were gazing directly at Lance, sending a slight shiver down his spine. Lance suppressed a grin and waved at his friend whose hair had long outgrew his trademark mullet and was kept in a ponytail. Lance walked over to him and was handed a helmet which he put on with no difficulty, having been offered rides on Keith’s bike a multitude of times since their return to Earth and the end of the war.
“Don’t tell me the others are already there,” Lance groaned, as he straddled the bike behind Keith. He wrapped his arms around the older man and ignored the urge to press his cheek against Keith’s back.
“Mmm. You took a long time getting ready. Shiro picked up Pidge and Allura on his way. They should have arrived ten minutes ago.”
Keith started the bike and drove down the street, making a sharp left and causing Lance’s grip to tighten.
“It’s not my fault my alarm decided today of all days not to work,” he complained loudly. Keith chuckled in response.
“They probably won’t mind. I heard Pidge wanted to check out some of the new trinkets at the robotics store that recently opened at the mall. Hunk was excited about it, too. That’ll probably keep them busy until we get there.”
Keith and Lance arrived at the mall no less than ten minutes later and after struggling to find a parking spot for another five minutes, entered the mall and met up with their friends who were, in fact, looking around the new robotics shop.
“Hunk!” Lance greeted his best friend, jumping on his back and wrapping himself around the larger man like a koala. Hunk dropped the item he was holding to stumble into the table and grab Lance’s thighs to keep him held up. In the corner of the shop, Keith had walked over to Shiro and Allura, falling into a content conversation with the two. Pidge stood next to Hunk, adjusting her glasses as she stared at Lance and Hunk with a small smile on her face.
“Took you long enough,” she said, then held out a tiny triangular item. Lance tilted his head at it as Hunk reached out to hold it up in front of Lance’s face, a bit too close that it caused him to go cross-eyed in order to analyze it.
“It looks like a miniature Rover,” the former blue paladin commented.
“Yeah,” Pidge nodded, her smile turning nostalgic as she reached for the item again. “It’s a cute keychain that works as a flashlight.”
Lance whistled in awe, reaching over to ruffle his friend’s hair. She squawked and slapped his hands away with a playful glare. The trio laughed and started talking about other strange items they found throughout the store until Allura walked over to them and ushered them out the store.
“Time to start our costume search,” she said, pointing over to a store where Shiro and Keith were messing about with one another and a few horrific masks.
“That one suits you, Keith,” Pidge stated, stifling a laugh as Keith chucked the Mothman mask at her. Hunk intercepted, placing the mask atop Lance’s head.
“Hey!” He whined, whacking his friend on the shoulder and laughing along with his best friend as he felt the tremors of his chuckles shaking his body. He tapped Hunk twice to let him down then walked alongside Allura as they looked at Disney princess costumes.
“You’d make a beautiful Elsa,” Lance winked, pointing over at a mannequin dressed in a sparkly blue dress and braided, light blonde wig. Allura giggled and waved a hand at the costume.
“I think I’ll pass on that one,” she said. Lance opened his mouth to respond when a shocked squeal startled the pair. They looked at one another before heading towards the loud laughter and hushed chattering.
“What’s going on?” Allura interjected, staring at Keith’s flushed face and Pidge’s shocked expression. Shiro glanced at Allura, then down to the outfit he was holding out towards Pidge and Hunk.
“Ah,” Shiro coughed, looking back up from the outfit. “We found…uh…a paladin costume…made for women.”
“Oh?” Allura hummed, brightening up as she strode forward and snatched the outfit out of the man’s hands ignoring his protests and the choking sounds coming from Pidge.
“Princess,” Keith started as Allura unraveled the costume. Everyone froze and Lance frowned as he tried to peer around Allura to see what the big issue was.
“O-Oh,” she stuttered, causing Lance’s curiosity to pique. Lance reached over and took the costume from Allura who released it without argument.
“Wow, cool,” Lance grinned causing everyone’s head to snap towards him. “What? Nobody wants it? We could all go in our color!”
“They are all like that, though,” Pidge stated.
“I’m going to go try it on! This is the perfect costume,” Lance grinned, ignoring Pidge’s statement as he rushed to the changing rooms, leaving his friends gaping and stuttering over themselves.
“Did that just happen?” Keith asked.
Lance came out after a couple of minutes passed and stood before his friends, striking a pose. His long, lean legs were mostly bare, besides the short pair of tight black shorts and knee-high boots that matched the design of their paladin outfits. The sleeveless turtleneck crop top fit perfectly on his lean body, showing off his stomach and arms. The expanse of smooth, brown skin and the way the outfit—despite being made for women—fit Lance perfectly had everyone reacting in different, yet similar ways.
Hunk stared, his face slightly flushed as he took in his best friend’s figure. One of his eyebrows raised in thought as he accessed how dangerous it would have been for Lance to wear such a thing when they were still in space during the war. Everyone would have been falling over him for sure!
Pidge blinked at Lance, glancing away quickly as she felt heat rise to her face. She always knew Lance was attractive, but she had never seen him dressed up so scandalously before. She felt too aware now.
Shiro was stuck in awe, eyes wide and face a deep red. His eyes trailed from Lance’s long legs, to his stomach. He stood in silence, drinking in the sight of Lance and felt like he could do so for hours without interruption if allowed.
Allura smiled, face warming at the sight of her friend posing in the skin-revealing outfit that looked way too good on him. She thought her friend was way too beautiful, raising a brow at the thought of him winning over everyone on Halloween. Every house would probably give him all the candy and leave none for the rest of them. She hummed softly at the thought. It would be well-deserved, though. Her eyes drifted down to his legs and she nodded to herself.
When Lance stepped out and struck a pose, Keith felt like he was tossed into a romantic film. Everything froze around him and all he could focus on was Lance, and only Lance. He brushed his bangs back as he took in the sight of Lance dressed in the paladin costume, his long legs put on display, thighs looking strong yet soft. He felt his face warm, feeling the desperate urge to run his fingers across the soft flesh of those thighs, or feel them wrap around his waist. His eyes darted from Lance’s legs to his arms, then to his stomach. He took in the image of Lance just standing there with his hands on his hips, with a soft smile on those plush lips and a faint blush dusting across his cheeks. He was beautiful, standing there in that paladin costume that suited him so perfectly as if it were made for him. If Lance chose that costume, Keith was certain everybody—including himself—would be spending Halloween worshipping him with their eyes.
“So,” Lance spoke, breaking the silence. His lips curled into a smirk and he struck another pose. “How do I look?”
…
Lance ended up buying the outfit, and Halloween was spent with everyone in a daze.

Birthday Beach Party
It had been years since Lance was able to set foot on a beach, since he was able to feel the salt-scented breeze run through his brown locks and the caress of the ocean’s waves against his feet. It had been years since he heard his family’s laughter and shouts of playful joy as the young ones ran about to grab sand to build the perfect sandcastle. It had been years since he saw his mom and his dad relax against a soft beach towel, an umbrella casting a shade over them as they chatted and somehow kept a careful eye on the many wild children of their big family. It had been years since he saw his aunts and uncles, his cousins, his relatives all in one place with smiles of joy and bright eyes as they went about to fully enjoy their beach day. It had been years since he saw Veronica nudge along a loved one—a girlfriend in this case (Acxa)—hand in hand to the ocean, ruffling Lance’s hair as they passed by. It had been years since he saw his brothers and sisters enjoying themselves.
His eyes swept across the wide expanse of the beach towards the ocean where he found his makeshift family—his space family—floating about in the ocean, wide smiles on their faces as they splashed each other with water. Coran was poking at Hunk’s orange ring tube floatie with a curious look on his face. Hunk was splashing large amounts of water into Pidge’s face who retaliated with a few kicks that caused water to splash up into his face. A little off to the side to avoid the splashes of water, Shiro had his dad expression on, reprimanding Hunk and Pidge. The quirk of his lips gave him away though, and Lance couldn’t contain the soft laughter that spilled past his lips at the sight. The warmth he felt at seeing his family all in one place—a very special place—faded away a bit when he noticed someone missing. His eyes darted to each person in the ocean, then scanned the sand-covered land in search of his favorite mullet-haired samurai. A tap on the shoulder startled him from his search.
“Keith!” Lance chimed, hands immediately reaching to clasp his boyfriend’s arm. Said boyfriend chuckled and gazed upon him with the warmest expression that Lance felt he was going to melt.
“Hey,” Keith said, resting his forehead against Lance’s, a soft smile overtaking his features. Lance smiled in return feeling all the warmth and love return to him.
This moment. This moment, right here. Lance was going to treasure it for the rest of eternity. He had his family, all his loved ones with him at his very special place. He felt their love and their happiness. The loneliness he had felt for so long ebbed away and all that was left remaining was a fluttery feeling of the greatest love and warmth he could ever experience.
“Happy birthday, love.”
A Tired Hurt
Summary:
It felt like a dull pain; and over time, that pain would ache at various levels of intensity.
Lance was tired. He was tired of the hurt. He was tired of feeling lonely despite being surrounded by people he considered his friends. He was tired of the dark cloud casted over his mind like a stubborn stain.
He knew that he tended to overthink a lot, but when there were so many actions that he could misinterpret, it was bound to happen. He was already so insecure. Receiving many tentative looks, or the stern call of his name to pay attention or to stop goofing around just made his head hurt from the inevitable task of picking apart those actions and connecting them to how his friends must think of him as a burden. Things that seemed like they could’ve been jokes in some distant past stung and cut deep through his entire being; painful words formulated equally painful thoughts which became embedded into the depths of his soul until he was surely littered with imperceptible scars.

Sleazeballs and Small Curses
Summary:
Lance is Keith’s stability.
Keith wasn’t one to lose control of his emotions—oh, who was he kidding. He was the most impulsive guy he knew. And at the moment, he couldn’t help but glare a hole into the back of their latest client who had a case of the extremely touchy hands syndrome. Keith bit the inside of his cheek and focused on keeping his claws from growing as the man placed his hand on Lance’s left knee.
Just breathe. Doesn’t matter that this is the fifth time he’s touched your witch. Just breathe—it’ll be all over in a minute. Don’t ruin this.
Keith felt his right eye twitch as the man edged his hand up Lance’s leg towards his thigh. His eyes darted to Lance’s face, watching for signs of discomfort. The witch’s face was void of emotion, a polite smile that never wavered seemingly permanent on his face throughout their conversation. Keith breathed in deeply, hands twitching restlessly at his side.
Beware of a Jealous Witch
Summary:
Keith gets injured and Lance tends to his wounds.
Or in which Keith thinks Lance's jealousy is hot af.
“Stay still, you stupid wolf,” the witch huffed, brows furrowed and eyes narrowed as he focused on getting a good grip around the arrow buried in Keith’s right shoulder. Keith stayed silent, eyes peering at Lance’s face as the teen worked at his wound, tearing the arrow out abruptly. Keith didn’t so much as flinch as Lance chucked the broken arrow aside and began dabbing the blood with a clean cloth. “Honestly, how could you be so stupid?”
Keith continued to keep his silence as Lance finished patching up. When the witch began packing up the supplies and moving away, a calloused hand wrapped around his wrist and pulled him back. Lance stumbled before falling into the werewolf’s lap, his back to Keith’s broad chest. Arms wrapped around his waist and fingers clenched the soft material of his shirt. Lance closed his eyes when he felt a warm breath against his bare neck.
“I protected you. That’s all that matters,” Keith said, causing Lance’s eyes to snap back open into a glare. He turned his head slightly to direct it at Keith.
“You were being reckless!” Lance chided as he maneuvered his body so that he was straddling Keith’s lap and they were face to face. He jabbed his pointer finger into the werewolf’s chest. “You could have protected me without getting injured! You were just too distracted by that woman with the weird stringy, two-toned hair.”
“Come on now, babe. You know I have eyes only for you,” the wolf smirked, leaning in until their noses touched. “But in all seriousness, that woman seemed familiar to me. I just can’t seem to place it.”
Lance leaned back slightly, letting his finger trail down Keith’s chest teasingly as a series of thoughts ran through his head. Ex lover? Old friend? A long lost sibling? He chewed the inside of his cheek as he assessed each possible concept.
“I know that face,” Keith sighed, soft smile playing on his lips as he placed both hands onto Lance’s cheeks to cradle his face in his hands. “What are you thinking in that pretty head of yours? She’s definitely not an old lover or anything like that.”
Lance felt the rising jealousy get stomped out immediately by Keith’s words and pouted slightly at being read so easily. “Hey, how am I supposed to know. Not like you go around telling me of your past conquests…”
Keith huffed out a laugh and pressed a kiss to his lips. “Even if I did have past lovers—which I don’t. You know I was a lone wolf before you, babe—the memory of them would pale in contrast to time spent with you. You are everything to me."
Lance blushed and tried to move his face out of Keith’s hands, but was unable to. He casted his gaze down instead, before blushing harder and looking off to the side. Keith chuckled and slowly released the witch’s face. Lance got up from Keith’s lap, snatched up the medical supplies and dashed off to an adjoining room.
Keith blinked after his lover’s figure before a thought came to mind.
“Wait…Is that why you placed a curse on her? You rarely place a curse on anyone!”
And at the responding embarrassed shriek, Keith couldn’t help but think: Fuck, that’s hot.
A Touch of the Lips, a Kiss of the Soul
Soft hands slid down the length of his arm, starting from his shoulder and trailing a path down to his fingertips. Keith tried to grasp onto the hand—to intertwine their fingers—but the hand moved out of reach, crystalline blue eyes coming into view. Plush lips moved to form unfamiliar words as the ethereal being mumbled an incantation that caused the candles in the room to light up.
And Keith knew. He knew that as a hunter he would have to kill this person, but he didn’t want to. Not with the soft warm tingling sensation spreading throughout his body just by looking into those beautiful blue eyes, and definitely not when he was craving the taste of warm, sun-kissed skin against his lips, against his tongue.
Shiro was going to kill him. Kolivan was going to kill him. He was turning his back on the code. He was turning away from his duty as a member of the Blade of Marmora. Yet, even with his sense of duty and even with the image of disappointed peers in his mind, Keith couldn’t let this boy slip through his fingers. He couldn’t lose this one. Not this one. Because this one was different. He never felt this way about anyone else in his entire twenty-one years of living.
“You’re a witch,” Keith breathed out, fingers twitching at his sides.
“Does that change the way you feel about me?” Lance replied with a tilt of his lips, eyes sparkling as if he already knew the answer. And how could he not? It was clear that he had Keith wrapped around his finger. And the witch didn’t even need to cast a spell to have Keith bend to his will.
“No,” Keith murmured, wrapping his arms around the younger boy’s waist and tugging him into Keith’s lap. The boy plopped down without a protest, lips moving to brush against Keith’s temple and down across his jaw. “You never revealed yourself before. I thought you were just an ordinary teen. Why make it so blatantly clear now? Why come out of hiding?”
Lance peered up into Keith’s eyes through his lashes, a soft smile forming. “Because I love you.”
Keith felt his world still, his hands tightening around the witch’s waist as he let the words fall over him. He felt his heart’s pace pick up and his cheeks heat up under the gaze of soft blue eyes. This beautiful person loved him. How? How could he have gotten so lucky?
“I thought it was best we don’t keep secrets if we go any further,” Lance continued, hand splayed atop Keith’s chest. And with a look at Keith’s conflicted eyes, “And don’t you worry. I know you are a hunter.”
This boy had a tendency of causing Keith’s world to flip upside down. How did Lance know he was a hunter? He had always been discreet about that part of his life. However, all questions left his mind as Lance pressed his lips against his, wrapping his arms around Keith’s neck, hands entangling into his hair. Keith’s hands moved to rest upon soft, smooth skin underneath the thin shirt Lance was wearing. He dug his fingers into the soft flesh, leaving his mark as he simultaneously bit Lance’s lower lip. The boy settled more comfortably into his lap and pulled away. Keith chased after his lips but was stopped by a hand pressing against his chest. The younger boy panted slightly, his cheeks flushed and lips red and wet with saliva. Keith felt a surge of emotions course through him, leaning forward to pepper the boy’s face with kisses until Lance’s hand fell from its place on Keith’s chest and rested on the bed they were on. When he pulled away, Keith let out a content sigh.
“I love you, Lance. Magic or no magic,” Keith declared, eyes staring directly into the blue orbs he could write poems about. And Keith wasn’t very good with words, so that was saying something. He watched Lance’s eyes light up at his declaration of love. This person was his entire world, his entire universe. He’d betray the Blade of Marmora—hell, he’d betray the entire Altean Organization—if it meant he’d get to remain by Lance’s side.
And as he placed a passionate kiss upon those soft lips, he promised, “I won’t let anyone harm you. I’ll protect you. Forever.”
Soft Mornings and Unsafe Roads
Summary:
In a world full of magic, the kingdoms throughout the world are warring against these so-called "unnatural beasts," basically all magical beings. The humans are out to purge the world of magic.
Keith and Lance are ready to leave the inn they were staying at in order to continue their adventuring, but come across a hunter who reveals a truth.
Keith cracked an eye open to stare down at the fluffy brown curls tickling his nose. He pulled the young witch closer to him, arms wrapped snuggly against the boy’s waist. He buried his nose in the mess of curls, breathing in the ocean-esque scent. He released his breath and closed his eyes, only snapping them back open when he heard a stifled giggle.
“You awake?” Keith asked, voice thick with sleep. He winced at the somewhat croaky sound. That was so unsexy (Lance thought otherwise). The witch rolled over to face Keith, readjusting the strong muscular arms around his waist as he settled in against Keith’s chest.
“Mhm. Good morning, handsome.”
Lance leaned in to place a few quick kisses on his cheeks, nose, and the corner of his mouth. Keith grumbled in response, capturing the teen’s lips in a soft and lingering kiss. He pulled away with a smirk, eyes scanning the flushed face of the beautiful witch in his arms.
“Good morning, Lance.”
What Is Love? Baby, Don’t Hurt Me
Summary:
Lance just wanted to forget.
Lance just wanted to forget. Forget the way Keith’s warm, calloused hands would trail a path down his body, lighting him on fire. Forget the way Keith would lean over to place a soft kiss against his flustered cheek. Forget the way Keith would whisper sweet and reassuring words into his ear in the dead of night, cradling him into his chest after a nightmare. Forget the way Keith’s eyes darkened when Lance teased him; the way he chased after Lance after a long, passionate kiss; the way he promised—he promised—that he would always be there for Lance; the way he’d wipe away Lance’s tears, showering his flushed face in kisses. He wanted to forget the soft moments where the love was blatantly present. He wanted to forget the warmth in Keith’s gaze whenever they caught each other’s eye in the middle of a meeting or training session. He wanted to forget Keith.

Just another day in the life of two boyfriends.

“Keith!” Lance shouted from the bathroom, sticking his head around the door to glare at his boyfriend who was laying in bed with his shoes on (cue a look of absolute disgust), fully dressed with his signature scowl on his face as he scrolled through his phone. Keith looked up, scowl falling into an expression that Lance had apparently been oblivious to for the last couple of years—at least according to Hunk and Pidge who both claimed Keith had always looked at him with that lovestruck expression—and made a questioning noise. Lance bit back every comment of adoration that built up in his throat, trying to escape. Instead, he steadied himself, left hand on the bathroom’s doorframe and right hand on his hip.
“How many times do I have to tell you that the toilet paper roll faces outward, not inward! Don’t just put it in mindlessly. This stuff matters!” Lance chastised his boyfriend, thoughts going to how his mom would react when she came this upcoming weekend and saw their bathroom. He shuddered.
Keith rolled his eyes in response, chuckling under his breath. Lance watched the older man pull himself up into a sitting position, phone dropping into the sheets beside him. He ran a hand through his tangled mullet, cursing softly when his hand got caught. Lance bit his lip to hold back his laughter, struggling to keep his lips from curling upward into a smile.

“Keith!” Lance shouted from the bathroom, sticking his head around the door to glare at his boyfriend who was laying in bed with his shoes on (cue a look of absolute disgust), fully dressed with his signature scowl on his face as he scrolled through his phone. Hello!! Wow, my first commenter lol. Lance just has that way of thinking. This story is basically him and his dark thoughts. Like, even if you know that someone loves or cares about you, you begin to doubt it sometimes when your mind picks apart details and takes it down a further, more depressing path. As for nobody noticing, you can interpret that anyway you want since I didn’t really include that explicitly. :)
