This month has been very exciting new website, new shoots I can feel things beginning to bloom. Despite the cooler weather we've recently had here in SoFlo, its been great to enjoy being outdoors. This is my first booked shoot for the year with my friend Alexa, who just wanted to do a shoot for fun so I was very excited she chose to shoot with me!

I find a certain beauty in the architecture of parking garages, especially in Miami; there are some marvelous parking structures. One happens to be very close to home, my home, which was the location for this shoot.

After mid-day there is a beautiful glow and golden light that comes into the garage, so we set out to take full advantage of it.

The garage also has several different windows of all sizes, grids and giant panes of glass gifted us such unique lighting effects.

I cannot stress enough how important making your subjects feel comfortable can make a difference in the photos. One of the easiest ways to break some of those barriers is through music, Alexa's music choice was "Anything Kanye." So we put on the all things Kanye playlist on Spotify and got right in the mode to shoot.

Alexa has some of the most goregous eyes, they popped in just about every photo.

I had such a great time shooting with Alexa, it seems as if everything had aligned for us that day because we were able to capture some great shots.
