So I had a lenghty conversation about The Maccabees with my flatmate the other day and now I can't stop listening to them. Again. New album in 2 months as Fe said... Right in time for my birthday.

I'm gonna cry my eyes out tomorrow night. Probably will start as soon as I pick up my ticket from the box office and it's gonna get just worse after that.

And after the gig I will most likely buy another ticket to see them again in June. That's how certain I am that they will exceed my extremely high expectations.

to go to US in February solely to see Maccabees live again. Surely flights are not that expensive...

I know for a fact

that exactly a year ago I was really miserable. I was really sad and my life was shit so I was spending hours on the internet looking for Maccabees pictures and downloading them to my computer. Being quite depressed I named the folder after the date it was created ; 28/11/2011. Year later I am far less miserable. Not only thanks to Maccabees but it's unbelievable how much they helped me when I was going through my bad times. That's why they will always mean the world to me.

What's this rave about 'happy bunny'?!

Yeah, it's cute, but it's like one of the most obvious expressions of feeling good ever along with a happy camper. I know that even Orlando's poop is more beautiful than any other poop in the world, but people say 'I am a happy bunny' all the time. Get over it.

One thing I would like to say

The Maccabees are probably the nicest people on the planet, and definitely the nicest band on the planet. Meeting such lied back, easy going and lovely people is so rare. Bless them.
