When you go to the doctor's office, if you're a woman, they should give you a gun to use on the doctor if they dismiss your problem. Same if you're fat. Fat women get two guns in case the doctor really deserves it

#reminds me of the time i went to the doctor because i had a uti #she took my test and said everything was fine and i needed to change diet #only. the tests werent fine. and were tagged as such on the app i have #but i was like. aaaah shes a doctor surely she knows what shes doing!#she didnt #and then i developed a double kidney infection a couple months later so bad i nearly passed out driving myself to the hospital #because the pain was just that intense and id had a fever for a day #but my diet was what the problem was. right right #i went back to my primary a couple months later because i was having lower back pain again and was afraid my kidney infection was back #and she said. we should really see about doing some extra tests for you since you seem to have a history of utis #im sorry. A HISTORY???? HISTORY. IVE HAD MORE THAN THIS ONE AND NO ONE HAS FUCKING TOLD ME??? NEVER THOUGHT MAYBE THAT SHOULD BE SOMETHING #I KNOW ABOUT??/#LITERALLY EVERY TIME I WENT TO THE DOCTOR THEY EITHER WOULDNT TEST ME AND TOLD ME TO change my diet OR TEST ME AND SAY NOTHING WAS WRONG #i fucking hate doctors they never listen #or how THAT SAME YEAR i went to get minor surgery done and before they gave me local anesthetic both me and my mom told the surgeon n nurse #hey!!! i am pretty resistant to numbing/local anesthetics #and the surgeon brushed me off and said ill be fine and the anesthetic will wear off in 3 hours #the surgery was 15 fucking minutes tops and that shit had worn off by the time he was stitching me up #rant
