realistically speaking if I HAD to choose, I'd choose Hannibal as a dad because if the biggest predator loves me then I'm not afraid of anything. secondly, it would greatly benefit my hypochondriac mind because doctor. third, rich. fourth: psycho yes but stable. whereas Will is not only unstable, he's also incapable of bonding with anyone besides dogs and Hannibal. he also has major incestual tendencies which are very fun in fanfiction but not so fun irl

Ok I get where you’re coming from, but wouldn’t incestual tendencies also be a concern with Hannibal??? That man has unresolved issues abound with his sister, and he was very much not normal about Abigail Hobbs (though at least she was an adult and not blood related).

I mean, I’d still go with Hannibal for the wealth and (comparative) stability, but being a daughter of his, especially if we were actually blood-related, I’d have some… concerns.

yes but I already answered that in another reply. basically: yes, but he seems way less likely to become nasty with it because he doesn't have the moral OCD Will has. Will would find anything that is considered wrong and convince himself he somehow is that thing, whereas Hannibal doesn't give a fuck about being morally "corrupt".

This might be how Hannibal thought of himself before he met Will. He was essentially alone but he was content, because he saw himself as complete in his existence as a higher being. When he met Will, he became human. What else could he do but worship?
