Under These Hundred Degree Conditions
yeah sure why not
Today I saw one of the most incredible pieces of art
I thought of noise music
I thought of industrial metal
I thought of my own compositions
I thought of history and future and sound and silence
And I didn't think of you
But then of course
Afterwards
I had to have thought of you
To know that I didn't think of you
There is no growth
In monitoring your growth
Because there is still a "you"
In "the absence of you"
I slammed three fingers in a cabinet door
My immediate feeling
Was relief
It's not that I'm a masochist
I wasn't aroused by the pain
I didn't even particularly enjoy it
Or like it
It just felt
Right
Correct
Deserved
And for a moment
That throbbing pain
Replaced the constant barrage
Of
"What makes me so unlovable?"

abstract and modern art haters are sooo snobby like klein literally Created an entirely new pigment and then painted a canvas in a way where the brush strokes wouldn't be visible. the insinuation that people with no skill could reproduce that is so annoying because unless you are skilled at color mixing and painting you definitely couldnât lmao
i hope it's okay to add this because i think it hits the nail directly on the head
Honestly, it's like picking up a book and saying "I know all these words, I can type, I could have written this" like there's no middle step between the technical ability and the finished work.
canât criticize plastic surgery as an institution because itâs none of your business if a woman wants to âfixâ her insecurities. canât criticize the makeup industry or beauty standards because some women feel good when they shave and wear makeup. canât bring up the challenges women face in the workplace because some women want to be stay at home wives instead of working. everything a woman does is automatically feminist and we shouldnât stop to think about the context surrounding her actions because that would be misogynistic. hereâs what i had for girl dinner. according to my girl math the barbie movie was a revolutionary piece of feminist media. i may not show it but i feel the life slowly draining from me day by day.

Wordle is running out of words. Only 2,000 five letter words remain. When that supply is exhausted the Creation shall begin. One day the word will be ZHURM, and all shall get it, and all shall understand it to mean "an ache from suddenly remembering a long-ago friend, who meant something to you once, but whose face you can no longer conjure". The next day the word shall be JOROL, and all will get it, and all will know it means "the melancholy confusion of passing by somewhere where you once could have died". The next day it will be GREFT, and all will understand it to be a small brown bird with white streaks found only in South America, and suddenly, it will appear, in the underbrush of the Amazon, in the streets of SĂŁo Paulo, and all will know that it once was not there, but now, will always be
Is it more Marxist to be a sadist or a masochist?
FROM EACH ACCORDING TO ABILITY
TO EACH ACCORDING TO HIS NEED
