My husband and I bought a house in Austin a couple months ago and are in process of making some upgrades and a "modest" addition. My brainstorming process for design projects has been hugely helpful in relaying our ideas to our architect, Travis Greig of Greig|Percy Collaborative. Here are a few of my favorite bits of inspiration.
