Today, we laid a hero to rest.

As some of you may know, the Dark Horse Zine team of moderators and contributors are composed of many people who had been fans of Kazakhstan’s Denis Ten long before we got to meet the character of Otabek Altin in Yuri On Ice, while others got to know and admire Denis because Otabek introduced him to them.

Whichever you are, as long as Denis has touched your life in any way at all, we are one with you during this time and wish to invite you to continue to commemorate his legacy and celebrate the rich, wonderful life he had led. 

Denis’s love for skating and his country, his courage to embrace new challenges and determination to live his life to the fullest, and his dedication to uplifting and enabling others to make their own dreams a reality — all this and so much more had made him a truly remarkable person and an incredible inspiration.

We are confident that many who have also known or followed him feel the same way. And if you’ve only begun learning about him these past few days, we welcome you to know more about him by watching his performances, reading his words, and engaging with those who had loved him.  

He may be physically gone from this earth, but he truly shall live on in our hearts forever.

Thanks to @alienmandy the cover is sweet and attractive (just for that I would definitely have bought seeing it in a shop) ; the postcard is so nice and colorful, and is going to have a good place on my wall with my Yuri On Ice posters, Thank you @emeething :3 ; With this magnet on my fridge I will see JJ and his friends everyday and have freaking good days, Thank you Melonbiscuit :’D
