In celebration of summer officially beginning, here are some of my best style moments from my trip to Italy last summer.
Here are some sweet shots from my petite fashion blog.
I started my Isagenix program today!!! This is my first Isagenix shake ever, Rich Dutch Chocolate flavor. It’s so delicious and smooth. No regrets about ordering it. I also ordered strawberry so I can’t wait to try it tomorrow!
I had a shake for breakfast and a small meal for lunch and dinner. ‘Twas a simple day. I played some catch for exercise and soaked up the sun. ☀️
Cheers, dears. 🎀
Coconut nice cream with strawberries and coconut cacao rawnola 💚
Firenze Italy is a beautiful country and I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to visit and explore the land since I was a young child. On this day in particular I was exploring the outskirts of Florence. I wanted to express myself through my clothes and decided to take a few risks. Floral Baseball Cap (Florence Shop): This is my favorite souvenir from Italy. It’s got this gorgeous renaissance painting style floral print. Its a beautiful mix of deep greens and burgundies. It was perfect for such an artistically significant city. Also it’s practical and great for keeping the sun out of your eyes when you’re sight seeing!
White Lace Top (F21): The moment my mother saw this top she said it looked like a tablecloth. Honestly, that’s exactly why I bought it! It reminded me of the lace trimmed tablecloths that are a staple for any Italian home. I really like this top because it’s a good way to get into the crop top trend without actually baring the belly. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Olive Asymmetrical Skirt (Reign Boutique): This skirt is fierce af. I chose to pack it in my suitcase because the color olive reminds me so much of Italy. This skirt’s got a mini skirt peeking through from underneath a long, luxuriously draped skirt. It was really practical for sightseeing because it’s light and airy which is great in the beating heat, but it’s also fairly modest. While seeing churches I just held together both ends of it to cover up more out of respect. Tan Woven Purse and Sandals (Closet & DSW): These pieces are very simple and earth toned. They’re neutral and matched a lot. They reminded me of the Southern town my family is from so I had to pack them! Giant Water Bottle: Ok, okay… it’s not a real accessory, but you do not understand how hot it was! Stay hydrated! I hope this inspires you to express yourself! Style is not about looking perfect it’s about liking what you wear and making your personality visible. Do not hide your true style or your true self!!!
