My Ideas for Supernatural the Musical #1
(miscellaneous and not in specific orders)
Parody Musical: Supernatural (As Told by Two Fangirls)
Inspired by Titanique and &Juliet
Two sisters, the older Leila and the younger Francine (affectionately called "Frankie") who bonded over Supernatural since they were 12 and 10 years old respectively.
They were raised by their aunt Lucy who introduced them to the show and the three bonded.
But now they are 33 and 31 respectively, and they have grown apart, even watching the remaining seasons separately
Leila is determined to bring back their bond which causes her to take her sister on a road trip where they reminisce on different events of the show. This is at Leila's theatre academy where she uses wigs and props to tell important stories from Supernatural with classic rock as the soundtrack
Francine joins in on certain numbers
Turns out Leila was dealing with unrequited feelings for her best friend, Terra (who's actor plays Castiel in these scenes)
The scenes expand to be setting such as the motel rooms
The rest of the plot is all about: unrequited love, unresolved trauma, loneliness, feeling alone, and carrying on when it gets tough.
Supernatural Pilot the Musical: Scene Idea:
Opening scene is a Stanford bar on Halloween, with Sam, Jessica and more of their friends
Diverts from canon by having a karaoke scene where they force Sam to perform
He performs: "Favourite Son" by Green Day to illustrate his frustrations with John and Dean in one song. He starts off shy but then gets into it and belts like his life depends on it.
