i know we all have so much to say about this season of the pitt but i love that we met baran al hashimi. that's my girl.

this was her first shift at ptmc. she was happy to meet them. THEY TOOK HER WHIMSY. robby took her whimsy.

"robby is a mandated reporter" yeah if someone doesn't report themself. al hashimi was planning on doing that; it's her first day, of course not everything is settled. "he is the chief, he gets to make a decision" no he doesn't. he isn't HR. he isn't management. he needs to know because he's the chief, but he doesn't get to decide what happens. "he wants to discuss the options with her" if he wanted to be collaborative maybe he should've been a little nicer. "we shouldn't trust her decision because she wants to be accepted into the workplace and is minimizing it" are you hearing yourself? this is a woman who asked for help immediately after something happened. "it could be unsafe to work this way"yeah fucking duh, she knows that. she has a plan. she knows what she's doing. "HR doesn't know yet, that's dangerous" we don't know this; again, it's her first day, not everything will be handled yet. "her wanting two attendings won't work" robby has been working as an attending by himself and it's been kinda shitty, two attendings would honestly be great. dear god, it's ableism city in the pitt fandom!
