I really, really love Laws of Attraction and I think it has hit all the major points that makes a book good for me.

- I am invested in the main LI. I like Gave, I like his sexual tension with MC. I like that he is cocky and charming but still holds him back on a personal l cell because he knows it is a bad idea and yet still teases us with how much he does want it.

- the plot centers around the MC. I don't want my MC to be a supporting character. I don't want to be a bit player in someone else's story, I want th MC to be central to the stort and this MC is. Plus she is also damn good at her job, which is a nice change.

- the side characters. A good cast makes or breaks a book for me and I like the Laws gang. I like the dynamic between them.

- the plot. I like how they have set it up. The first half let is get a feel for the law, the firm, etc. And then we dove into a high profile case that will dominate the second half. It was good plotting. Because now I feel like I know MC and the firm enough to be invested in Marcus's case and to follow what is happening. Also 16 chapters of one murder case would be too much.

Laws is the best book PB has produced in a long time and I just adore it.

Yes yes and yes! I have a working theory that the career based books tend to be better cause the MC actually has the plot cantered around them

I actually kinda enjoyed Foreign Affairs, it got me into choices again, I would not mind a second book….. 👉🏽👈🏽
