iz//ch didn’t become canon and they’re blaming—you guessed it—US ! they’re saying hori was brainwashed by shippers shdkdhsj that he was “too afraid to confirm a het ship because of the backlash” the backlash…… for a het ship…..

they’re also calling deku worthless since he lost his quirk, despite still being a hero in the end AND they’re asking “what was the point of ochako if she didn’t end up with deku?” and are incredibly unhappy with her career choices.

did they even LIKE this series???

So I guess Izuku is only worth liking if he "gets the girl" and has a Quirk. And how dare Ochako pursue a career that she always aim to have! You know, helping people???

Yeah, did they like any of the series?! Let alone the characters?!

they never cared to hear about her feelings for her career or how heroic driven she already was -they did exactly what Mina was doing, see all her "hero" moments as "heroine" instead, refusing to hear about what she actually worried about. Her falling in love with someone doesnt mean the end goal of her character is dating them nor confessing, and that doesnt imply "she's just repressing feelings" -she already expressed them, just not to HIM, because she had more emotions to express and worry about from the very beginning and tried to hide from everyone, arent these people reading the literal text? Even Izuku points this out, how she always hides all her non cheery and heroic feelings inside, and how she also needs to let them out and let him be a hero too -the ones who save heroes are other heroes, and everyone can be one.

Its not about her love for him!! She's so much more than that, she has been much more for a long time actually! The only times she would bring up her feelings for him was to bond with Himiko!! GAGHGHAGH

But anyways, I'm gonna be sappy and say how grateful I am to have been here watching and reading this story for years. It means so much to me, it was one of the first anime's I ever got into, and has helped push me to improve my art. It's made such a big impact on my life and I am thankful that I got to witness these characters grow and develop as I grew up with them.
