Au where during Kamino Izuku sees AFO charging up an attack and panic manifests blackwhip which proceeds to bitch slap AFO off the main battlefield

1 - Iida feels extremely guilty that he wasn't able to hold on to Izuku. He tried. He really did. He managed to hold Shouto. But Izuku saw All Might being sent through three buildings and AFO about to attack him again, saw red, burst through the wall (Momo claims to this day that he didn't even use his quirk for it), and shoulder slammed All for One.

2 - I don't know who is more horrified between Iida, All Might, Bakugou and Gran Torino. In any case, a panicked AFO is trying to get away from Izuku but Izuku is currently biting him. Tomura jumps into the fight and both AFO and him are promptly bitch slapped across the battlefield by what suspiciously looks like AFO's quirk.

3 - Izuku is promptly known as the feral kid who bit the Symbol of Evil and managed to steal a quirk thanks to that. All Might is really amused. And sends his boy get tested to make sure he hasn't caught anything from biting AFO.

4 - Izuku is now under the belief that he really is a late bloomer and that his quirk is that if he bites people, he can get their quirks. He is overjoyed. Bakugou is horrified.

5 - The vestiges try to explain to him that it's not that. AFO, when All Might visits, point out that he isn't missing any quirk and that this is Banjo's quirk.

6 - Izuku proves them wrong right after he gets Overhaul. Unrelated but Eri is now into the habit of biting people who are mean to her.

I'm just imagining AFO frantically shaking his arm trying to get Izuku off of him while the entire world gets a front row seat of the symbol of evil unable to shake off a feral teenager

"That man has just thrown the Symbol of Peace through three buildings and he can't shake off that one kid..."

"What kind of bite strength does this kid even has???"

Hello hello again! Though I've updated the art in the fic, I understand that there are people who liked the original drawings as they were (I'm pretty sure the OHHHHHHHHHH meme in particular!)

So here is all of the old art from TCOTAP, in chronological order in the story. I'm very proud of how far I've come in my art, but these original drawings have a special place in my heart since they reflect the me who was writing this fic all those years ago.

Just wanted to say thanks and express how much I love From Muddy Waters. I am rereading it now and I’m not sure if you are picking it back up or not but no matter what I’m grateful for getting to read what you’ve written and I just want you to know it’s such a great story and you’re such a great writer! I was seriously in shock of how well you weave together a bunch of different storylines and you write the characters so well. (Also if you’ve gotten weird nasty comments on ao3 keep in mind there are bots going around trying to get ppl to delete their stories so they can strip them. )

Tru, tru - and I can give you the happy news that I am, in fact, picking it back up! I'm no longer following the original outline I posted, but I am having a bunch of fun and enjoying everyone's reactions! I currently have like fifteen chapters between me and what I'm currently posting, and aim to finish the whole story!

a painting made recently! if you look closely, ive hidden some symbolism.

izuku's sparkler references the state of one for all inside him, in what all that's left are only its embers. shoto's on the other hand, is bright and glowing, representing how he and his power grew as he healed from his past. he thinks what could have been if things were different with his oldest brother, and so, the blue flame still glows in the name of his memory.

i'm not a writer but i hope i verbalized the concept well!
