Considering Boros as a traditional mono-colored player
Thor said it best : :
My coworker has convinced me that I need to buy the Ral masterpiece today (I’ve been checking the price every five minutes). We enable each other’s bad Magic spending habits lol.
Not a bad idea tbh, it started going up for the European market lately.
I got mine for $50, which looks like it’s cheaper than in Europe right now.
Yeah, the lowest price atm is 54€ which roughly equals to $62
Funny MTG Arena Poll
A few years back, someone thought it a great idea to engage the public to name a new research vessel (Boaty McBoatface details here). Since that time, the lesson was not learned to never the trust the internet at large for a task such as that.
Fast-forward to earlier this month, when Wizards of the Coast, acquiesced to the MTG Arena fans to name a cute little animated graphic of a scorpion on the game screen. I love this sort of thing as it generates endless mirth for me :
At least they had the backbone to stick to their guns and honor the name instead of backing out of the poll.
But @wizardsmagic when do we get to name the next planeswalker to get a card?
Can we name the raven on the Ravnica scene as well? I can't help but click on that little fellow and make it fly away.
Reblog to plant a berry in the soft, loamy soil
Like to return the soil to its soft and loamy state
A Golgari wrote this.
one of the most brilliant exchanges ever written for television tbh
I mean as story decisions go, giving Data a cat and the screentime to try to logically reason with the cat with very little success, thus letting the robot embody Every Cat Owner Ever, was A+

I will feed and give water to your…animal…
I actually just read a really informative and interesting article about electroplay and now I have so many questions about how Ral’s powers work because that would dictate what kinds of electroplay he could actually do safely.

There are 5 Types of ‘Black Mage’ in MTG
1. CabalCoffersUrbogsCryptGhast
2. DiscardDatCardPlz
3. Pay 7 Life: Draw 7. + 7/7 Flying Lifelink
4. Dumps things to grave; reanimates things from grave; dies to leyline.
5. Liliana is No.1
umm… rats?
Where is the T4 Phyrexian Obliterator T5 Gary Black Mage at?
annnd mono-black vampire tribal?
Hi Mark. I've noticed that recently the art has been depicting important dragons like Nicol Bolas and Niv Mizzet with weird goblin-y humanoid faces instead of traditional dragon faces. Is there any way you could put in my request to stop that?
I talked with our art directors about this. When you paint a dragon from the front straight on, it collapses the snout and makes the face look flatter. The dragons facial structure isn’t changing, it’s just a perspective choice of the artists.
So Alara is an if, but Tarkir is a when? Why was Tarkir so much more popular?
I’m not sure. What are your thoughts on Alara and Tarkir?
I prefer Alara over Tarkir. To be entirely fair, I was almost non-active when Tarkir was out simply because the lore wasn't for me. I'm more of a Grixis player and the Tarkir clan I felt closest to was the Sultai. Overall it just wasn't really attractive to me. It's actually during that time that I bought a lot of RTR/GTC/DGM products instead.

I am absolutely baffled that people actually think that the baby planeswalked.
The entire point of the Eternals is that they’ve been made inorganic and they made it blatantly clear during Huatli’s story that food can’t survive.
The simplest answer is that the baby teleported. So they came back with a strange fruit? Are you telling me you’ve seen every fruit grown on Earth and if you saw one that’s new to you, you’d assume it’s from another dimension?
Planeswalking didn't even cross my mind while reading it. I guess they're just overanalyzing this.
Love being brutally called out by the British Library
Oh my gosh I went here a few days ago do you guys want to see the whole sign
I’m covered with “Librarians from Everywhere” but as a former museums professional “Tourists who think we’re the British Museum” really speaks to me on a personal level.
I’m “all ten people who think they’ve got the most niche interest in the whole building”
What story cards were pushed that led to bad things?
The latest Emrakul is a good example.
Can’t expect an Eldrazi to bring good stuff though.
Is the Raven Man in fact storm crows stacked on top of each other in a trench coat?
That’s one theory.
@incorrect-mtg-theories and a good one at that!
I kinda want a super dumb Magic set based on Christmas, with green/white reindeers, weird spruce/pine tree elementals, red/blue elf toy-making engineers, blue letter archivists, and sleigh artefact vehicles. Starring Santa Claus and Rudolf as legendary creatures.
