My dnd group is playing Out of The Abyss and we had our first player character death a few days ago. After half an irl year, we said goodbye to Reverie as he bravely saved our party and our adopted myconid babies from a Beholder by sacrificing himself. 😭💔

I’m so excited to see what Echo, the person who played him, will do with their backup despite my heartbreak💗

Every so often, I remake one of my first digital pieces! It’s never an exact sort of redraw, just whenever I feel ready to show my own improvement. I often don’t look at my old art and see how far I’ve come, but it’s fascinating to look at what I made 6-7 years ago, and then 3 years ago and then even one year ago. On my journey I’ve changed my style, my equipment, and my character herself. Originally this was my first dungeons and dragons character Arcana, but for many years now she’s found new life as a character in my friend Noah’s worldbuild, Scissa. She looks much different now than when she first was created, but for my most recent piece, I wanted to draw her as I imagine she might look back in the world of dnd.
