Griffin. In the seventh century BC, ancient Greeks made contact with Saka-Scythian nomads who prospected for gold in the Gobi Desert. One of the legends that the Greeks gleaned from this contact was of the griffin — a lion-sized, four-legged, winged animal with a "cruel sharp beak" — that ferociously guarded its hoard of gold. According to Ovidio, Scylla was a beautiful nymph who hided in the sea from her suitors. There the sorceress Circe, who envied her, put a spell on Scylla and transformed her into a terrible monster.

Kraken.

The more accurate description about this beast comes from the bishop Erik Pontoppidan (1752). He said in his book “Norwegian natural history “ that the creature's length was at least 2.4km “the size of a floating island”.

Kappa. It is one of the many yokai (demons), according to the nipon folklore they exist and have existed for centuries. They can be cruel or good. Phoenix. When the Phoenix knows that its going to die, it builds a nest with incense and aromatic woods branches and ash, where it can snuggle and wait for its end while it sings sad melodies. When the time comes, it shake its wings to produce fire that burns it completely.
