HERE BE DRAGONS! The sumatran flying dragon (Draco sumatranus) is a lizard that believes it can glide! By flattening out its ribs into flaps, the lizards leap from tree to tree and glide their way to safety.
Ashy roundleaf bats (Hipposideros cineraceus) are small horseshoe bats that can be found on Pulau Ubin! Horseshoe bats are named as such because their have these weird noseleafs shaped kind of like horseshoes which they use for echolocation. I'm going to be doodling Singapore's native biodiversity for my own amusement. Stay tuned for more obscure but adorable animals from my little island O:
