The point of this blog, at least in its beginning, is to work on daily ficlets/fic snippets, to try and break through my struggle with concentrating on writing because of my concussion

Primarily, I will be writing Rabbot, but I might explore an OC pairing of mine (unrelated to any fandom), Star Crossed Lovers

So I Guess We're Allowed To Do That

Jack's cheeks flushed hard when Michael winked at him. And then his hand was squeezing Jack's thigh. What the fuck. So they were doing that now? After ten years and he does it now??? In front of Dana and Santos and Mohan and everyone else at this medical panel. Fuck. Michael was going to be the death of him. No one had said anything. But Dana had given him a smile like she knew exactly what was going on. Which, to be fair, she probably did. Dana did know everything. Except, with Michael, there was no thing. He and Michael? They were best friends, sure. But not anything romantic. As much as Jack had been pining for him. It wasn't going to happen, was it? Michael didn't seem to do guys, and if he did, he certainly didn't do Jack. Jack's thoughts were pulled from his musings when a question from the audience was directed at him on how he'd handled an intern doing a REBOA without approval or supervision, and then Michael's hand was gone from his thigh. He missed its warmth.

I get a lot of hits on fics, more than I expected, on most of them. And I am grateful for that. But I'm really disappointed I don't get as many kudos, or even a quarter as much to reflect the hits on the fics. And most of the time I barely get any comments. I'm not owed any of that, but it does feel nice when I get kudos or comments :(
