Do you mind elaborating on the daaf sister location you had mentioned in the past? i think it is a very interesting concept! (and so sorry about the previous ask, genuine mistake đ
)
Sure. I don't think I was ever planning to seriously make this game iirc, but a lot of friends asked me how I would've handled SL when I was making DSaF 2, so I drafted a rough idea for it. It's technically still semi-canon, but basically served to explain some connective tissue in DSaF lore more than anything else. This was also written pre 3, ofc, so you get what you pay for (which is nothing) with this idea:
Basically, it was gonna primarily explain how Dave gets into Jack's room during DSaF 2's evil route (something 3 showed with its SL location) and explore Jack's disgust at that. He would've been seething about it all of the time. Believe it or not, this is something that's canon even in FNaF lore. Fredbear's Diner is physically connected to the FNaF 4 house through SL.
Basically, Jack gets a job at old Afton Robotics facility, which Dave was using to build prototypes for a robot that can do his work FOR him, giving him more time to stalk Jack and break things elsewhere and Jack decides to sabotage this.
These are the Funtime robots, of course. Dave opens Circus Baby's Pizza World, legally distinct from Fazbear Ent, hoping a successful grand opening will trick the company into buying a ton of his hyper-advanced robots at a steep discount, akin to the company rolling out the Toy animatronics, finally killing the company when they begin abducting and attacking customers in broad daylight.
The odd idea I had was that literally none of the Funtimes were possessed, Dave was just talented enough to make them genuinely conscious. They scoop Jack like they would've with Michael and the ending of the game would've been Ennard entering Jack, emerging for the Grand Opening and then singing this to the customers, before leaping out of Jack's body and climbing down into the sewers, never to be seen again:
