Finally finished this little watercolor sketchbook. I used most of it to do little studies while working as a framer, to keep my skills up. I developed a way to paint loose with acrylics, but be able to scale that looseness up in size for professional work. Pentalic makes great watercolor sketchbooks. I waited almost two months to get my little octopus tripod. (Totally not essential, I understand) But it totally works as a car easel. Super strong, even in this metal hot box of a car. Went to see the Dean Cornwell mural at the Los Angeles central library. Way bigger than I thought, and far more badass. It was neat to see the same old man show up in the mural, since I have even done studies of him haha. Even his comps are on display, analogue photoshop skills.
