museinspo’s aesthetic series — the male dirtbag.
i relate to the phrase “chillin like a villain” because it shows that i’m calm but also ready to sin.
I feel as if I am at a dead end and so I am finished. All spiritual facts I realize are true but I never escape the feeling of being closed in and the sordidness of self, the futility of all that I have seen and done and said. Maybe if I continued things would please me more but now I have no hope and I am tired.

― I Killed My Mother (2009) “Everything is always wrong.”
I still find it really funny that in Rent, Roger’s all like “you look familiar” and Mimi’s response is “maybe you went to the strip club I work at” and not “well you see, I do live in your building, soooo”

Who’s usin’ who? What should we do? Well you can’t be a pimp And a prostitute too
Lucian was hanging outside the building, the last bit of a cigarette dangling from his lips. The wisps of smoke curled up as he took it from his mouth, and dropped it to the ground, snuffing it out with the toe of his shoe. It was decompressing, but it was also a new place– one with new, well, customers. Definitely a few of his neighbors. His eyes scanned the area, before resting his eyes on someone just approaching the building. Lucian put on his best smile, and immediately strode over to the other tenant, an air of confident around him. “Hello! Hi, I think you might live in the same building as me, but you see, when I came out to have a cigarette, I think I have might have left my keys in the apartment.” That was a lie, but no one could tell with him any longer. The language that explained that long since repressed. “Do you think maybe you could let me in? Sorry to be a bother. The name’s Lucian Baz.”
Jacob hid in the shadows, smoking the last of his pack and ashing it against the knuckles of his fingers, watching the glowing paper fall to the sidewalk. He wasn’t alone. There was another figure here, one he didn’t immediately recognize, doing exactly what he was. Nothing out of the ordinary. It seemed almost everyone who lived here had some type of bad habit-— smoking being the most popular of them. Just as he finished up his cigarette the other man (Lucian, as he introduced himself), came up to him. He was even cuter up close. “I don’t know, I think I’d need some proof that you really live here.”
family had always been important to eloy for as long as the male could remember. he had three younger sisters, a mother who was working multiple jobs, & a step-father who was always gone due to working construction. it was a messy house-hold that eloy never wanted to be in from the start. he couldn’t afford a single thing & often resorted to staying at his friends’ places rather than his own for the simplest of reasons. one friend had an xbox– something that the dean family could never afford. while another friend had four cats & a dog– animals or pets of any sort weren’t allowed in the apartments eloy lived in. soon enough making friends was just a battle of finding the people in town who had more than eloy ( which wasn’t very hard to do honestly ).
there was only one item that eloy had that he didn’t have to share with his sisters or with anyone else as a matter of fact. it was a bow that his parents saved up for once he entered high school. throughout the years it was also an object that eloy debated, many times, selling to make a little extra cash. to this day though; he was happy that he never went through with selling it. it was the only beautiful thing that he got to keep in his life. if anything it was more like an anchor to him, reminding him when everything was still a struggle, but more simple.
peace & quiet were needed when getting his anger out with his bow & arrows. with the sound of footsteps behind him though, while he was taking aim, eloy lifted his green eyes off his target - however not moving his arms down to lower the weapon. instead he turned his eyes to the person besides him, a smirk spread over his lips. “ i’d be careful if i were you. getting too close or being too annoying may result in you getting in trouble. ” & just as the word trouble rolled off his tongue, with his green eyes still on the person, eloy shot the arrow. landing just an inch off the bullseye.
Jacob found himself w a n d e r i n g. Late at night, in the middle of the day . . . a lit cigarette, sunglasses over his eyes, and his mind elsewhere. His feet moving forward. Going somewhere. If he was romantic or religious he’d explain it like a magnet-— like something was pulling him somewhere he was destined to be going. But Jacob was none of those things, and he believed it was just his bored body finding a place to reside.
It could be dangerous. Sometimes he found himself in a lost territory, in between buildings that looked familiar but really held no importance to him. It took him a few minutes to register where exactly he was, and even more time to think about how he could get back to Marlborough. It was worse when he ran into people who noticed him. While wandering, Jacob liked to go unnoticed. Like a ghost. A distant memory.
That was all he was to most people he held in his heart.
But today was a little different. Something did feel like it was pulling him in-— Eloy, a boy whose name he doesn’t actually k n o w yet-— pulling the bow at the same pace as Jake approached him, just curious as to what exactly he was doing. Locking eyes with him was simply a surprise, but once it happened Jake allowed himself to smirk. Always one to be flirtatious (although it was much more his personality showing than him actually wanting to get some). “I didn’t know Katniss could be so fucking hot as a guy.”
“… Oh. I knew that.” He didn’t—but that doesn’t stop him from saying he did. He nods, playing it off. “You think? A part of me thinks you’re right, a part of me thinks it could go terribly wrong. That’s probably the risk of discounted surgical procedures, huh…”
“What’s the worst that could happen if it goes wrong? You lose your teeth?” He shrugs, still kidding a bit, still not sure Caspar is going to get it. “At least then you can get some kickass dentures.”
