If you care about your streamers getting what they deserve from Twitch - follow them if they decide to switch to YouTube. Twitch sees their numbers on their site, but if it’s clear your streamer is getting numbers wherever they go, Twitch has that much more incentive to make changes that bring them back.

The revenue split sucks. So much so that I’ve completely abandoned becoming affiliate right now. Instead I added bttv and have a tts thru ko-fi. So do a lot of streamers! And I think these changes despite twitch saying otherwise are the reason these changes were made.

If your streamer moves, Follow Them. Show Twitch that your streamer trumps the amount of content hosted on twitch.

(Plus - many other platforms are similarly set up, with comparable quality - and with better revenue splits.)
