Hello, I am Jaimie-Rae (amab/Peter). Welcome to my blog. Aspergers/Autistic, M2F Trans Woman.Came out to wife/sister in law Mid September 2016. Counselling (solo) since Mid October 2016). Spring Summer 2016 I came to realize what I had been feeling all my life, and that is i’m AMAB, but I am the incorrect Gender. I have progressed in affirming myself, reaching out to individuals, meeting some new friends also. My wife is aware, but not accepting entirely at this time. She is accepting that this is my journey of exploration, but cannot accept or comprehend presently. I have opened up to her that she can ask me any questions/concerns, when she is ready for any part. I do expect a flood at one point when she’s ready. This is my journey, but hers as well. I am huge on pro marriage, as I’ve been married to and with her, for just about 6 years (as of writing this). I always leave “ask and anonymous” options on, including messaging. So feel free to message me anytime of the day or night. I will respond as often as I can. I am an affirming blog, a realistic and honest blog as much as possible. I’ll not say names of those that I connect with personally out of respect of privacy. If you have questions, but wish to be anon, tell me, and i’ll respect. “from anon, question = xyzzy etc”. And go from there. If I can give you answers or research answers, i’ll be happy to. Pron blogs i’ll block etc. Thanks for the read.
Sometimes the smallest, silliest things feel like huge accomplishments ✨

One of my favorite parts of transition is experiencing the things I always envied. I had shoulder length hair as a kid, but refused to style it or do ponytails or use bobby pins. I rejected anything that would make me seem like I was doing something “feminine”… even though that’s what I really wanted. As I grew up, my hair got shorter and shorter as I repressed my feelings more and more. Now I have so many hair styles I want to try, and little things like being able to do a braid are really meaningful to me.
So you know that chart you use sometimes for when someone asks about the effects of T and how long it will take to happen? Do you have an equivalent chart for estrogen?
🏳️🌈 Seeing as it’s the first day of pride month, I just want to wish everyone a happy pride month! 🏳️🌈

I almost certainly missed several (or more) groups of people, but that’s what happens when you write a post just after you woke up. So feel free to add on with any groups not mentioned here.
Making fun of girls who dream of being a wife and stay-at-home-mom actually doesn’t make you progressive or feminist or cool, it just makes you a person who shits on someone else’s dream, a.k.a an asshole
Remember this segment came out before the backlash really got into full swing. Things are dangerous as hell for us now that the right has us squarely in their crosshairs and use our lives and identities as a political wedge issue.
In honour of TDOV here is a quick rundown of American trans history. I’ll make another post about non-American stuff sometime soon. It isn’t complete, I stopped at 2013 and this is because if I continued it to now it would be way too long. This is just the very basics.
