You are drowning yourself by overthinking everything. The next time you find yourself overthinking or beating yourself over something, picture something simple and put no thought into it. Look at the trees moving in the wind or take a moment to look at how beautiful this world is. This world is too beautiful for you to waste your time in unecessary thoughts that are just drowning you.

Started my morning reading a little NPR, drinking good coffee, and maybe a few notes before work today. Sunday has always been such an odd day for me. Weirdly, it has always felt on a different overall time schedule for me; I wouldn't know how to describe it best. The good news is that Presidents Day is tomorrow, and that means no class! I have been doing so well with my assignments and lecture since I upgraded to this newer MB Pro :) Happy studying and positive vibes to all ❤️

02 / 11 / 18 : I look at days like today, and begin to think of how thankful I should be. I have worked hard to get where I am; I have a brand new MacBook, my grades are going well, and my GPA is just a few hairs shy of 4.0. I should value the everything of everyday life, and be thankful for the life I live and have worked so hard to achieve.

Also, I am working on this super great project for my Art History class (as pictured) and I can’t stop writing!!! My major is Visual Art & Design, and I have a minor in Art History. Ancient Greek societies were one of the first depictions of stereotypes in art, I absolutely love art. Just made myself a cup of great cocoa, and now I’m off to bed for the early morning. I am registering for Fall semester, and have a major day of lecture and notes.

[03/11/17] I’m currently juggling four different essays but managing to hold it all together. Between lectures today I did some reading about postcolonial curation, then spent the evening scoping out ideas for a piece of coursework that I’m really excited about.
