Hephaestus, God of the Forge, Blacksmiths, Fire, and Volcanos.
In his workshop, Hephaestus toils to create magnificent works for the other Gods of Olympus, creating their thrones, the flying sandals of Hermes, and the girdle of Aphrodite among other magically imbued artifacts.
For Hephaestus’s design I mostly did my own thing, noting from some historical sources he was said to have red hair I gave him a fiery ombré red color. All sources generally agree that Hephaestus was a burly man with a beard and some form of disability (that he was either born with or as a result of being thrown off Mount Olympus as an infant by either Hera or Zeus). The mythology says this disability affected Hephaestus’s ability to walk, but he created mobility aids for himself so I decided to represent this with a prosthetic leg.
